UPDATE: “Trump House” Owner Kerry Sheron Passes Away from Injuries After Brutal Attack

We have a sad update to deliver.

Kerry Sheron, the Army veteran who was brutally beaten outside of his famous Trump-themed home in California, has passed away from his injuries.

The 69-year-old was hospitalized last week in critical condition after a neighbor violently attacked him in broad daylight.

On Sunday night, he died from his injuries.

TRAGIC: Pro-Trump Army Veteran Kerry Sheron Murdered at 69 in Brutal Attack

Heartbreaking news out of San Diego, Kerry Sheron, the proud owner of a well known Trump House and a dedicated Army Veteran, has passed away after being savagely attacked outside his own home by a Leftist psychopath.

This patriot was known throughout the community for boldly flying the flag and standing strong for America First values. Now he’s gone, taken out in an act of pure evil.

The violence has to stop!

And, here’s another video of his pro-Trump property:

What a tragic situation.

(Mostly one-sided) political violence has become far too common in our nation. It’s very sad and infuriating.

As we previously reported, Sheron’s wife Maria Garcia believes that her husband was attacked because of the Trump decorations at their house.

Sheron's murderer, Thomas Caleb Butler, is facing multiple charges -- among them, attempted murder.

However, now that Sheron has passed away, those charges are likely to change.

CBS 8 reported:

Deputy District Attorney Ross Garcia said the attack was unprovoked. "It was a single punch to the jaw. The victim then falls to the floor, and there are subsequent hits to the victim's head area, requiring the victim to be transported to the hospital," Garcia said.

While Garcia said the motive remains under investigation, Sheron's wife of 20 years believes that their yard display played a role. "A lot of people - they don't like the flags. I don't know why. I support America - my husband is a veteran," she told CBS 8 on Thursday.

She said the two men didn't know each other.

The man charged in the brutal attack, Thomas Butler, 32, a U.S. Navy veteran according to Military.com, made his first court appearance Friday, pleading not guilty to attempted murder and other charges.

Butler remained stoic during his arraignment in Vista court.  Butler faced charges including attempted murder, elder abuse causing great bodily injury, making criminal threats and battery. He's being held without bail and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Prosecutors said those charges may change if Sheron didn't survive.

Butler also attacked a witness who tried to intervene, punching him and making criminal threats, prosecutors said.

Kerry Sheron was very loved by patriots in his community.

On Friday, a vigil was held at Sheron's home, and around one-hundred residents showed up to support him.

More from NBC San Diego:

On Friday, nearly 100 people gathered outside Sheron's home to show their support for him. Many left flowers, balloons and prayers for Sheron.

Garcia said the couple had in the past experienced harassment and threats related to the displays outside their home, but said incidents had never turned violent before.

After his passing, folks arrived outside Sheron's home on Monday to show their support with signs.

Rest in peace, Kerry Sheron.

Please pray for his wife and loved ones in this time of unimaginable grief.
