FIRED? Jeanine Pirro Seen Leaving White House With Large Box After Trump Rebuke

Rumors are swirling about U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s future in the Trump administration after she was spotted leaving the White House wheeling out a large white box and briefcase behind her.

The photo, shared by CNN reporter Kit Maher, was taken just hours after President Trump issued a harsh rebuke of Pirro’s decision to drop the Reflecting Pool vandalism case.

President Trump has made it clear that he is not happy with the way that Pirro backed down on prosecuting former U.S. Olympian David Hearn for alleged vandalism of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

Over the weekend, the DOJ dismissed the case, leading President Trump to post this on Truth Social:

Full text:

I disagree 100% with Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, on the Reflecting Pool. I don’t know what she was thinking? To me, it was a pure case of VANDALISM, that included the grass, which had a big 86 47 emblazoned in giant letters on it, and other elements of the surrounding area. There may have been some contractor difficulty, but the major damage was caused by VANDALS! President DJT

Then, on Monday afternoon, President Trump doubled down on his criticism of Pirro’s decision, saying she “choked.”

Hours later, Jeanine Pirro was called into the White House to meet with President Trump.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum was also present at the meeting.

Here are some photos of the two arriving at the White House:

It’s unclear what the meeting was about, exactly.

But, notably, Burgum has also expressed his frustration with the DOJ’s decision to drop the case.

He wrote in a post on X:

The evidence is clear, vandals have repeatedly caused damage to the Reflecting Pool. Some of these acts were even caught on camera. We also provided the U.S. Attorney’s office expert and eyewitness testimony to the damage done by vandals and provided every piece of evidence they asked for in the requested time line detailing each area of damage at the pool.

The Reflecting Pool is part of the Lincoln Memorial and dates back to 1922.

@POTUS cares deeply about protecting our sacred national monuments and his leadership has led the restoration of our Nation’s Capital by Making D.C. Safe and Beautiful Again.

Intentional damage done to the Reflecting Pool is no different than defacing any one of our other national monuments.

We won’t back down to deranged people who want to destroy, deface, or degrade our monuments.

Sources told CNN that President Trump is extremely angry with Pirro and considering removing her from her role as U.S. Attorney.

However, sources also said that Pirro was not fired on the spot at today’s meeting.

Here’s more from that CNN report:

President Donald Trump is considering removing Jeanine Pirro, the US attorney for the District of Columbia, over a Justice Department conclusion that problems with the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool stemmed from a flawed renovation rather than vandalism, two people familiar with his thinking told CNN.

The president is “furious” with Pirro, one of the sources said, telling CNN that he fumed about her all weekend. They added that based on his criticisms of her, they find it “highly likely she’s removed from her job.”

The other source, a senior administration official, said Trump was “blindsided” by the court filing from Pirro, a longtime ally. “The president did not know beforehand that she was going to do that.”

CNN has reached out to Pirro’s office and the Justice Department for comment. The White House directed CNN to the president’s prior comments on the filing and did not comment on the substance of the reporting.

“Frankly, I think she choked, because the judge was really vicious. Instead of going after the people that did it, the judge went after her and went after her department, and I guess she choked,” Trump said during an unrelated Oval Office event Monday.

“I was disappointed in Jeanine Pirro. Really disappointed in Jeanine Pirro,” he added. “She folded like an umbrella.”

Trump met with both Pirro and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum at the White House on Monday afternoon, a person familiar with the meeting told CNN. Others were also present at the meeting.

Pirro was not fired at the White House meeting and did not resign either, according to sources.

What are your thoughts?

Are you happy with the job Jeanine Pirro is doing, or do you think she should be fired?
