Nascimento who has fought with the UFC since 2021 died of an apparent heart attack.

On Monday, Aug. 3, the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced the death of the professional athlete on its social media channels, stating that it is believed that Nascimento died of an apparent heart attack.
“This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep,” the organization said in an Instagram post. “Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
A single black-and-white photo of him smiling directly at the camera, while holding up his fist as he wore a UFC boxing glove, accompanied the announcement.
The organization offered its condolences to Nascimento’s family, friends, teammates, and loved ones.
“One of the kindest souls I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing through MMA. Rest in peace, Allan. 😭🕊️,” UFC international correspondent Evelyn Rodrigues commented.

UFC fighter Charles Oliveira who was close to Nascimento responded to the news by sharing, “Today I lost a brother. Thank you for always being there, for sharing the mat, the track, for the words.”
Oliveira added, “I only have gratitude for having you by my side, brother, in training, in battles, and in our conversations. I love you, kid, you were awesome.”

Nascimento held a 22-7 professional record, having turned pro in 2011 where he won nine of his 10 initial fights. A one-time Dana White’s Contender Series participant, where he lost to Raulian Paiva by split decision, the Brazilian fighter made his UFC debut in 2021, losing a split decision to Tagir Ulanbekov.
After the loss to Ulanbekov, Nascimento rattled off four consecutive victories, defeating Jake Hadley, Carlos Hernandez, Jafel Filho and Cody Durden. Nascimento earned Performance of the Night honors in his wins over Hernandez and Durden.
That four-fight winning streak came to an end in Nascimento’s most recent fight, a split decision loss to Mitch Raposo on June 20.
