UPDATE: Here’s What Was Reportedly Inside the Box Jeanine Pirro Hauled Out of the White House

Yesterday, we were one of the first to report on U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro leaving the White House wheeling a big, white box and briefcase behind her.

This came after she met with President Trump and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, who were disappointed with her handling of the Reflecting Pool vandalism case.

That photo of Jeanine Pirro immediately sparked speculation that she may have been fired from her role in the Trump administration.

However, new reports appear to shoot down those rumors.

According to CBS News, the box was actually full of “evidence” that the Reflecting Pool damage was caused by poor installation, and not vandalism.

The top federal prosecutor in the nation’s capital carted a box full of evidence to the White House on Monday, in a bid to prove to President Trump that the damage to the Reflecting Pool was caused by shoddy construction and not by vandals, sources familiar with the matter told CBS News on Tuesday.

U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro, a staunch ally of the president, made the case in a sometimes heated private meeting in the Oval Office Monday, hours after Mr. Trump had publicly rebuked her for dropping criminal charges against Olympic canoeist David Hearn.

She was later photographed leaving the White House carting a large white box and other bags, which sources said contained all of the evidence collected from the Interior Department that exculpated Hearn and several others from criminal vandalism.

A spokesperson for Pirro’s office declined comment.

Now, neither Pirro herself nor the White House has confirmed or denied that report on what was inside her big, white box. So, take it with a grain of salt.

But, if CBS News is right, you have to wonder what sort of proof she has that leftists did not vandalize the Reflecting Pool…when, we already have this video, showing the contrary:

To give you some context, on Friday, the DOJ dropped a case against former U.S. Olympian David Hearne — one of the defendants accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

This came after a court filing dropped declaring that the peeling paint on the pool was caused by shoddy construction, rather than acts of vandalism.

Now, we are also learning that the DOJ dropped charges against three additional leftists who allegedly vandalized the Reflecting Pool.

That happened on Monday — after President Trump rebuked Jeanine Pirro for “folding like an umbrella.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Monday moved to drop its charges against more people accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, shortly after dropping a similar case against an Olympic canoeist.

Prosecutors led by U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro filed a nolle prosequi, meaning they are no longer looking to press charges against Cameron Theirs, Sophie Dennison-Gibby and Justin Carreno, according to court records.

The DOJ accused all four people, including three-time Olympic canoeist David Hearn, of destruction of property with a value of less than $1,000. The case against Hearn was dropped Friday, with Pirro’s office casting blame on the contractor for overspraying and delamination. A grand jury in Washington indicted Hearn last month on charges of felony destruction of property and faced 10 years in prison.

Defense lawyer Jamison Koehler told USA Today that his client, Dennison-Gibby, was relieved the charge was dropped, “but this was a horrible experience for her.”

Koehler noted his client “was then terrified to learn a couple days later that the president of the United States, the most powerful person in the world, had said that she and others charged were sick people who faced jail time.”

The lawyer added, “Can you imagine being singled out by the president?”

Attorney David Benowitz, who represented Carreno, told The Washington Post his client lost his job as a government contractor and faced reputational damage due to the case. He added that the charge “never should have been brought in the first place.”
