HEARTBREAKING: Victims Killed in Idaho In-n-Out Shooting Identified

Over the weekend, a gunman horrifically opened fire at an In-n-Out location in Idaho, claiming the lives of two people and wounding multiple others.

Now, the identities of the victims who were fatally shot have been released.

The first is 23-year-old Ashley Garibay, who was an employee at the restaurant.

In a heartbreaking statement, Ashley’s family noted that In-n-Out was her first-ever job, and she loved it.

Her dream was to manage her own In-n-Out store, one day.

New details are emerging about the mass shooting outside an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls Idaho that left three people dead and seven others wounded.

Among those killed was Ashley Garibay, an In-N-Out associate from Stockton, California.

Her family released a statement Monday night, saying In-N-Out was Ashley’s first job and that she proudly traveled to help open new stores. They said her dream was to one day become an In-N-Out store manager.

“We are heartbroken and devastated by the loss of Ashley, a devoted daughter, sister, auntie, cousin and friend, whose life was taken from us far too soon.”

Her family remembered Ashley as adventurous, outgoing, driven and always willing to help others.

“She lit up a room with her bright smile and a laugh that was contagious. She was a friend to all, and no matter what difficulties she was facing, she always found a way to help others find the light in the darkness.”

In-n-Out Burger President Lynsi Snyder also released a statement, in which she wrote that her “heart is broken” after the loss of “one of our beautiful Associates.”

In-N-Out Burger’s president slammed the gunman who killed one of the chain’s workers during Saturday’s shooting in Idaho as “a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own.”

Lynsi Snyder said her “heart is broken” after the attack at the newly opened Twin Falls, Idaho, restaurant left two innocent people dead, including an In-N-Out associate, and several others wounded before the suspected shooter fatally shot himself.

“My heart is broken, my chest is heavy, my eyes burn from the tears I’ve shed,” Snyder wrote in a statement.

“We lost one of our beautiful Associates tonight. She was taking care of our most important asset — our Customers, and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own.”

“He shot both on our property and off, and ended his life shortly after he took the precious lives of our Associate and Customers, innocent people who never saw it coming,” Snyder added.

Snyder, whose grandparents first opened the burger joint in 1948, said the company would “be mourning with the families and praying for them” while also supporting employees and customers who witnessed the bloodshed.

“I love you all, and I ask you to turn to God, not in anger, but seeking comfort and strength for those who are hurting,” she wrote.

“We will stand together, and we will do everything we can to learn from this situation.”

The second victim was 59-year-old Christopher Claunch, who had been excited to visit the In-n-Out restaurant for the very first time before he was shot and killed.

Chris was an amazing soul, we elk hunted for a few years together. He owned the sporting good store here in hagerman and was one of my influences to become an entrepreneur. One time I took him on a crazy hike and he ended up with frost bite but he pushed through it. One tough man! He will be dearly missed and the world has lost something truly rare. Rest easy Chris we love you!

What a tragic loss of life.

Please pray for the loved ones of both of these victims, who were taken far too soon.

But, the shooting could have been even worse — if it weren’t for a good guy with a gun who stepped in and took out the shooter before he could kill anyone else.
