Over a year after her apparent suicide, the death of Jeffrey Epstein’s most outspoken victim is now under review by law enforcement.
Last year, Virginia Giuffre was found dead at her farm in Australia after years of speaking out about what she went through.
It was ruled a suicide — despite her publicly stating that she was not suicidal.
Flashback to this post:

At the time of her death, a lot of people were suspicious as to whether Virginia Giuffre really killed herself.
Now, under pressure from Giuffre’s family, the Australian Police are launching a review her case.

Notably, Virginia’s family is not disputing her death as a suicide.
But, they claim that she may have been a victim of domestic violence prior to her death.
Daily Mail reported further:
The interactions between Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre and Australian police before her death will be reviewed.
Ms Giuffre, 41, who died by suicide in 2025 at her farm in Western Australia, alleged that she was forced to have sex on three occasions with former Duke of York Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor – a claim he has always denied.
In May, her brothers called for a public inquest into her death and a formal review of police actions they believe failed to protect her.
ADVERTISEMENTThey said Ms Giuffre may have been a victim of domestic violence in the lead-up to her death.
On Wednesday, WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch confirmed the way officers handled her case would be reviewed, ABC News reports.
‘We respond to over 100,000 family violence incidents every year,’ he told a WA parliament hearing.
‘I’d love to give assurance on every single one, but I can’t – but that one will be subject to a review.’
Commissioner Blanch said the state’s coroner and ombudsman could launch separate investigations.
In June, 16 researchers and practitioners from leading Australian universities and domestic violence organisations wrote to WA Coroner Ros Fogliani.
‘[Ms] Giuffre spent much of her adult life in courageous pursuit of accountability for the abuse she suffered, taking significant personal risk to expose a network of exploitation and in doing so helping to protect other women,’ the letter said.
‘It would be a profound injustice if the question of whether systems failed her in her final months were not examined with equivalent rigour.
ADVERTISEMENT‘[Ms] Giuffre’s death is unusual only in that it is visible.
‘Her public profile means there is an unusually detailed record of her final months – and what that record shows is deeply consistent with what our research tells us about how these deaths occur, and how they are too often overlooked.’
As you may remember, less than a month before she died, Giuffre claimed that she had been in a bus crash and had less than four days to live.
She posted this photo online:

But, her family says that the bruising was really caused by her abusive husband.
Per Telegraph:
Less than a month before her death, Giuffre published photographs of her face covered in bruises and said she had four days to live after suffering renal failure and being injured in a crash in Neergabby.
Local police and residents told The Telegraph that while there was a “minor” collision between the local school bus and a car, they had no knowledge of a serious crash that caused injuries.
At the time, Giuffre’s brother suggested that the injuries his sister had suffered were not solely a result of a car crash.
Giuffre’s PR team later alleged that Giuffre had been taken to hospital in January after being assaulted by her husband.
It was not the first time Giuffre had accused her husband of violence.
ADVERTISEMENTNewly unsealed documents, released as part of the Epstein files, showed that police were called to the couple’s home in Colorado in March 2015.
According to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office police report, Giuffre told officers that her husband had punched her multiple times in the face when she tried to stop him from hurting their pet husky.
Brody Koch, the sheriff, recorded bruising to Giuffre’s face, red marks near her collarbone and blood on her jumper.
Giuffre also alleged that Mr Giuffre had grabbed a 9mm semi-automatic pistol, “cocked it and placed it in his mouth”.
“Virginia stated that Robert tried to get her to pull the trigger several times,” the sheriff’s notes read.
