Marco Rubio TORCHES Democrat Senator Who Accused Him of Partying Amid Iran Negotiations

Secretary of State Marco Rubio completely unloaded on Democrat Sen. Jacky Rosen during today’s Senate hearing.

In a heated moment, Sen. Rosen accused Rubio of neglecting his duties as Secretary of State because he did not personally attend negotiations with Iran in Pakistan.

Instead, Sen. Rosen (falsely) claimed that Rubio was busy at a party with President Trump in Miami, FL.

Rubio didn’t let that slide.

“You don’t know what you’re talking about!” Rubio told her before setting the matter straight.

In reality, Rubio was at President Trump’s side that entire evening.

Not only that, but he was in constant communication with the negotiations team led by Vice President JD Vance. Several times, he relayed critical information to President Trump.

Watch the moment Rubio absolutely schooled Sen. Rosen here for yourself:

HOLY SMOKES. Sec. Marco Rubio just OBLITERATED Sen. Rosen (D)’s lies

ROSEN: You were at a PARTY instead of helping JD Vance negotiate with Iran!

RUBIO: “You don’t know what you’re TALKING ABOUT! I know your staff wrote up this CUTE statement for TikTok, but it’s NOT TRUE. And it’s not real. That’s NOT what happened.”

“I was not at a party. If people are going to SLANDER me. I’m going to answer it!”

“You’re 100% inaccurate and 100% wrong. Here’s why. Number one, the vice president of the United States was there…Mr. Witkoff, the president’s envoy, and Mr. Kushner, were the team [Trump] sent to Pakistan. I was NOT at a party. I was next to the PRESIDENT.”

“Because in the midst of those negotiations, I was in communications with them. And in fact, I think there is media reporting from that evening on how multiple occasions I went into a back room. I came back out and spoke to the president and was constantly updating him.”

“On that evening, I spoke to Mr. Kushner and our negotiating team and Mr. Witkoff on at least SIX occasions, including twice on a secure line from the phone they had access to over there!”

“I’m the national security advisor and secretary of state. I was co-located with the president in the midst of a high stakes negotiation so that I could immediately inform him about events occurring halfway around the world.”

“I was where I needed to be at that moment because we had a very capable team on the ground in Pakistan, led by the vice president, led by the vice president of the United States.”

To provide some additional context, the “party” that Sen. Rosen is referring to was a UFC fight that President Trump attended.

Marco Rubio was also in attendance. And, his assertion that he was working that entire evening by constantly delivering updates on the Iran negotiations to President Trump has been backed up by multiple media reports.

For instance, here’s an excerpt from a NYT article covering the events of that night:

Mr. Trump spent several hours orbited by Secretary of State Marco Rubio; a few of his children; some Ultimate Fighting Championship officials; Sergio Gor, the U.S. ambassador to India; the recording artist Vanilla Ice; Dan Bongino, the former deputy director of the F.B.I.; and the manosphere shepherd Joe Rogan.

He was surrounded by people, but Mr. Trump was somehow an isolated figure. People mostly circulated around him, checking in with updates and then leaving again. For the most part, Mr. Trump sat and impassively watched blood and saliva sprayed out from the fighters beating each other silly in front of him.

It was unclear whether the president knew that negotiations had failed by the time he entered the arena for the U.F.C. event to a Kid Rock song and thunderous applause. He wasn’t tapping away on his phone — he left that to Mr. Rubio, who at one point leaned over to show the president his screen — and he didn’t betray disappointment or anger. He offered tight smiles for the cameras instead, and a thumbs-up for the winners.

In fact, on his way to Florida, Mr. Trump had told reporters that it did not matter to him if a deal with Iran was reached or not: “We win, regardless,” he said. “We’ve defeated them militarily.” Which sounded a lot like everything he had said before negotiations began.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if Democrats could stop making up baseless lies and instead put all that energy towards making our nation great?
