The feud between President Trumpnell and Rosie O’Don continues.
For a brief history of the feud, it began when O’Donnell bashed Trump on The View in 2006 over his handling of the USA Pageant.
It was later reignited during the 2015 presidential debate when Trump said this iconic line:
In recent weeks, O’Donnell has touted her recent move to Ireland and stated the reason behind the move was due to the Trump admin’s recent policy decisions.
Trump has now responded to O’Donnell’s comments by threatening to take away her citizenship.
USA Today had more on Trump’s recent comments on O’Donnell:
President Donald Trump unleashed on his longtime foe Rosie O’Donnell, threatening to revoke the left-leaning comedian’s U.S. citizenship.
In a Truth Social post July 12, Trump said that “because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship.”
“She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” Trump wrote. A rep for O’Donnell directed USA TODAY to her client’s statement on Instagram, saying that “nothing else will be said.”
In March, the infamous former “View” co-host revealed her recent move to Ireland and told fans the political climate following Trump’s election inspired her relocation, which took place Jan. 15.

Rosie O’Donnell has since responded to Trump’s statement.

After Trump’s Truth Social post, O’Donnell wrote on TikTok, “the potus ladies n gentlemen is a disgrace to all our beautiful country stands for – he is a danger to the nation – a mentally ill untreated criminal who lied to america for a decade on the apprentice – thanks mark burnett – and u fell for it – its so tragic – had u grown up in Ny – as i did and he did – u too would know what a total fool he is – add me to the list of people who oppose him at every turn – its now or never america 🇺🇸 – my little posts from dublin upset him – go arrest a few brown people u truly evil man child.”
Trump has sought to end the practice of “birthright” citizenship via executive order. That has been challenged in the courts, and this past week a judge blocked Trump’s effort.
