Today’s Sunday message is titled, “Is There Anything That Our God Cannot Do?”
ADVERTISEMENTOur God requires us to believe the impossible. The Bible is filled with impossible things that God has done. Do we believe what God has said in His Word? Today we are going to look at the many things that God has done in the Old Testament and the New Testament too.
Are you truly a believer? What is a believer required to believe. We know that the Word says, “that without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD!
Do we truly believe everything that God has done? Do we believe the things that Jesus did? That’s a great question.
Only you know the answer.

Pastor Robb Goodman:
Good afternoon or good morning, everyone. My name is Pastor Robb Goodman and I am the senior pastor here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in Maryland. Well, March has come in like a lion and I sure hope it goes out like a lamb—the old saying, as it goes. Anyway, it has been windy and cold here.Oh my goodness gracious, it has been windy and cold, and wherever you may be, I pray that the weather has been nice. Wherever you live, in the whole entire Earth, may the Lord bless you and cause His favor to come upon you as you hear the word of God today. This is the word that the Lord gave me this week, and in just a moment I will share the title of this message. Praise be to God—let’s pray.
Alright, Heavenly Father, we praise You and we thank You that You are the King of glory. Lord, You are the King of the universe and all things are possible unto those who believe. Lord, we believe in Your miraculous power; we believe that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of God the Father. And Lord, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells and lives in all of us.
ADVERTISEMENTFather, have Your way today; have Your way. Let the anointing of God for service rise up in me and rest upon me. Lord, I commit every word, every sentence that I speak—every idea that will be verbalized correctly according to the word of God—and that You will honor Your word with signs following. Lord, let the miraculous power of God flow through the screen right now to whoever is watching this message.
Let healing come; let healing come. Let cold, flu, viruses, and all kinds of nasty stuff be gone from the body of Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that You would use this word to bring many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ—to those that do not yet know the Lord. Lord, we commit the ministry of the word to You today.
Jesus, You were called Rabbi—a great teacher. You’re the greatest teacher that ever walked the face of this Earth, and yes, Lord, You’ve called us to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Lord, You’ve called us to be members of the ministry of helps, and we have all been given gifts of the Spirit according to the divine will that You distribute to each one as You will. Lord, let Your word go forth in power, authority, and clarity, and let the word be verbalized according to what You desire it to be spoken.
In the mighty name of Jesus, I speak healing, I speak the love of God, and the grace of God over every listening ear right now. Father, may the spirit of wisdom and revelation be upon each person that hears this message today. Father, give them the touch of Your power, Lord, wherever they may be in the world right now. Let the overflowing power of God flow to them right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Woo, thank You, Lord. Hallelujah—woo, yes indeed. The presence of God is flowing into your life right now, wherever you’re watching this. Let the anointing of God bless you and touch you. If you need healing in your body, just lay your hand on that part that is hurting right now—in the name of Jesus.
Father, we speak the power of Almighty God right now—the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Lord, You said that we would preach the gospel and that You would honor Your word with signs following. We thank You, Lord, for the accompanying signs of the word of God. Lord, You said we’d lay hands on the sick and they shall recover; Lord, let Your power flow right now in Jesus’ name.
Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord—in the name of Jesus Christ. Some of you are being attacked with severe worry and doubt; it is a spirit of doubt and worry. I command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to take your hands off of God’s servants. Take your hands off those mighty servants of God now.
Stand up on your feet and tell the devil, “Get away from me, get away from me, get behind me!” You have no place in this matter; you have no place in my life. I exercise the authority that Jesus has given to me over you right now. You go from me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
ADVERTISEMENTThank You, Lord—oh, thank You, Jesus. Let Your power, let Your anointing, let Your glory fall upon every listening person right now in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, amen, and amen—woo, we, yes indeed. Praise be to God.
Well, I will give you the title of today’s message. The title of today’s message is “What Can’t Our God Do? What Can’t Our God Do?” He’s a miraculous God, right? He’s a mighty God, and praise be to God. We’re going to start today in the gospel of Matthew; we’re going to start at chapter 9, verses 28–33.
Matthew 9:28 through 33. I’ll give you a minute to turn there while I take a sip of my coffee. Happy Sunday morning to all of you—bless the Lord. God’s power and authority is upon you in Jesus’ name, and within you He has given you authority.
Alright, and when He had come into the house, the blind man came to Him. Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” Wow. Now imagine Jesus walking into your house right now—you better believe you got the comet and Ajax out and everything else, and you made sure that your house is pristine.
Well, what about our spiritual house—this body right here? We are the temple of the living God. Amen. Have the areas of our soul been cleansed? Have we yielded everything to God, or are we still playing games? This is the time when we’ve got to be serious with the Lord—we really need to be serious with Him.
And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” So He said to them, “There was more than just one blind person there.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith, let it be unto you. According to your faith, let it be unto you.”
Without faith it’s impossible—please, God, it is totally impossible to please You if we don’t have faith. And the Bible tells us that God has given every man, every woman, every child a measure of that faith. It’s up to us to make sure that our faith grows. Their eyes were opened, and Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows.”
Well, what did they do? They did the exact opposite of what Jesus said—they did the exact opposite. But when they departed, they spread the news about Him throughout the country. And as they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man who was mute and demon-possessed. When the demon was cast out, the mute spoke, and the multitudes marveled, saying it was never seen like this before in all of Israel.
Wow—Jesus was the man, the Son of God. He was the greatest prophet ever to walk the face of the Earth—greater than Moses, greater than Abraham, greater than any former person living. And there will never be anyone ever greater than Him. But the Pharisees said He cast out demons by the ruler of the demons.
Then Jesus went about all their cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues. Teaching is a big part—teaching is a big, big part of ministry. You know, Zion Freedom Fellowship International’s goal is to make teachers of righteousness go into all nations and make teachers of righteousness. We cannot get along without good teaching—amen.
So, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. You know, Jesus doesn’t ever do a sloppy job; He completes His work. He operates in boldness, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and He will use you in a mighty, mighty way—praise be to God.
Now I’m going to go over some of the great things that Jesus has done—and many others—in the word of God. As before, we are required to believe in the impossible. The Bible is filled with impossible things that happen in both the Old and the New Covenants. Here’s a pretty big list. Think about the great song “Amazing Grace”—one of the verses says, “Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come.” Amen.
ADVERTISEMENTAll of you can say that, you know, if I could give you a microphone right now, you could share with me all the wonderful things—and even the big problems—that the Lord has brought you through. He is a God that hears the cries of His people’s hearts, and He will answer. He says, “Call unto Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things that you did not know.” Wow.
Let’s trust God for that—we need the spirit of wisdom and revelation in our lives. “Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come.” We can all attest to the terrible things that we have been through, yet our Father has always brought us through. Amen.
What are believers required to believe? What is true belief? The Bible is full of unbelievable things—think about that, right? Think about how the Bible is full of unbelievable things. We are required to believe that God made everything out of absolutely nothing at all. Take a look at Genesis—look at the creation of the world, the Earth, and these heavens. It’s miraculous, and it didn’t just come from a big bang—it came from the word of God.
By His word, all things are created. He put eight people on an ark and destroyed every living being on the Earth. People believe that’s impossible, and yet they found Noah’s Ark up on Mount Ararat—it’s the exact measurements that are written in the Bible. Wow—amen. Even the altar that Noah used to give offerings to God is a big rock that still remains not far from where the ark was. That’s amazing.
At the right time, all of the animals—male and female—came to the ark on their own instinct. Well, God put that instinct in them—isn’t that amazing? That a certain male, a certain female of a giraffe, an elephant, foxes, birds—I mean, it’s just amazing—they all came because God drew them into the ark. Think about it: impossible! When you get to heaven one day, you’re going to be amazed when God shows you all the miraculous things that He has done.
But the word of God—we’ve got the word of God. Remember how Jesus rebuked His disciples for their unbelief because they had hardness of heart? What about us—do our hearts ever get hard? A man, almost 100 years old, got his barren wife pregnant. Out of her body came Isaac; he was 100 years old and Sarah, his wife, was in her late 90s. Think about it—she had never once had a menstrual cycle, and yet she was called barren.
But God—oh, God, He is a mighty God. He can do anything if we believe Him. Think about it—wow! Out of Isaac, the entire nation of Israel came forth. It’s amazing, absolutely believable, and amazing. Everything God said about Israel will take place. God called him a man who was a stutterer—he led 2 and a half million people through the Red Sea.
God picked a man who was a stutterer, who was raised in the palace because Pharaoh’s daughter caught Moses as he was laid in a basket and sent down the Nile—and his own mother was able to nurse him. Think about it—nothing is impossible with our God. God led 2 and 2 million people through the Red Sea; He caused water to flow out of a rock that gave water to all the people, their animals, and their livestock in the wilderness.
Think about it—that rock is big; it even has a crease in it where the water came out. Can you imagine 2.5 million people, plus all their animals and livestock? You can’t survive in the wilderness without water, but God gave them drink from a rock. Pharaoh and his army were drowned in that same water, never to be seen again.
You know, if you read a book that Ron Wyatt’s wife wrote, he was the one who found the chariot wheels under the Red Sea and things like that. Well, she wrote a book about what happened to Egypt after Pharaoh and his army were drowned—they were never a great nation after that again. Well, I have to be careful what I say, but you all know what I mean. Bread fell from the sky every day for 40 years—can you believe it?
Yeah, I believe it—I’m crazy enough to believe it. Their shoes and their clothing never wore out for 40 years—can you just imagine? That was a work of Almighty God. Just imagine—40 years, nothing wore out for them in a dry, barren desert. Here’s another instance: God’s people blew a trumpet—a ram’s horn—and shouted, and the wall of Jericho fell flat outwardly.
Can you imagine? They walked around seven times, didn’t utter a word, then gave a great shout and blew the trumpet—and down came the walls. Amazing—absolutely amazing. A man spoke to the sun and commanded it to stand still so that they would have enough daylight to finish a battle. Imagine that—do you believe it? I do.
ADVERTISEMENTWhizzcoAn angel killed 185,000 men in one night. Samson—oh, Samson! He had hair that was not to be cut because he was a Nazarite; he killed many with the jawbone of a mule. No one could stand against him until he was deceived by Delilah for money. A man dipped seven times in the water of the Jordan and was cured of leprosy—do you believe it? I do.
A man was carried into heaven by chariots of fire, never to be seen again—believe it, I do. A man took part of his clothes and smacked the river, and it parted for him—the River Jordan. Think about it—a dead man was thrown into a grave, and when his body hit the bones of the prophet that was in the grave, he came back to life—believe it, I do. A man made an ax head to swim.
The just man was worried because the ax was borrowed—he was concerned, “You know, I was given this ax to use and I’ve got to give it back to the owner.” The ax head swam to the top of the water—do you believe it? I do. Three men were thrown into a furnace that was heated seven times hotter—they were not destroyed; they didn’t even have the smell of smoke on them. And there appeared a fourth man in that fire, one like the Son of Man—and I believe that Jesus appeared there in the fire with them.
Do you believe it? I do. A 12-year-old Jesus amazed the scholars in the temple—they were astounded at His knowledge and His speech. This young boy Jesus had them amazed—had them completely dumbfounded. Do you believe it? I do.
Alright, let’s look at some scriptures. We’re going to talk about God’s miraculous power—you know, God has a plan to use you in a miraculous way. The Lord has shown me visions of revival taking place out in the streets, and I’ve seen believers in the streets praying for people, seeing miracles, and speaking divine words over people—watching miracles happen. And yet, I saw believers standing on the sidewalk, just watching, not being involved.
I want to be one of those who is out in the streets, praying for people and standing up without being ashamed of the gospel of Christ—because it is the power of God unto those who believe, to the Jew first and also to the Greek and the Gentile. Wow—just think about it, folks; just think about how awesome God’s power is. Have you ever seen a miracle before? I remember going to Kathryn Coleman Services when I was a young boy.
My aunt would take me with her—we’d travel on a bus up to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and see miraculous things happen. I saw a woman get off of a stretcher—she was decrepit and old—and she got up off that stretcher and walked and danced. I’m telling you, I saw people waiting in line early in the morning to get into the building with IV poles hanging from their stretchers—absolutely incredible miracles.
How does this happen? It happens because true faith brings about great wonders—amen. Alright, let’s go to Luke chapter 21. We’ll start at verse 27—excuse me, actually, let me go back to verse 25. This is Jesus speaking: “There will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; on the earth, distress of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear, and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth—for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”
Now, when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near. What an amazing thing—I believe, I believe that Jesus is coming very soon. No one knows the day, the hour, or the moment that Jesus will come, but He said that we can tell by the signs of the times that His coming is drawing near. That’s absolutely amazing.
Let’s go to 1 Chronicles chapter 16—let’s start with verse 22. 1 Chronicles 16:22 says, “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm; sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim the good news of His salvation from this day; declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.” That’s what we are supposed to do—we go out and proclaim the power of the gospel.
He is also to be feared above all gods, for all the gods of the people are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Do you believe that I do? Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and gladness are in His place. Give to the Lord, oh families of the peoples—give the Lord glory and strength; give to the Lord the glory of His name. Bring an offering and come before Him—oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, tremble before Him, all the earth.
The world is firmly established—it shall not be moved. Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad, and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!” Wow—do you believe that? You’ll be a part of that—I do. Thank You, Jesus.
Let’s go to Mark chapter 6, starting with verse 10—in the New Covenant, Mark chapter 6, verse 10. Jesus is speaking again, and He said to them, “In whatever place you enter a house, stay there till you depart from that place; and whoever does not receive you nor hear you when you depart, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” Assuredly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
So they went out and preached that people should repent, and they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick—and healed them all. He healed them. Can you imagine? These are the disciples—we are no different than those men of that day. Wow, what an amazing thing.
Look at what John the Baptist went through—look at what he went through. Herod had locked him up, put him in prison, and kept him there. Then on his birthday, he promised his wife’s daughter—because the mother, who was wicked, evil, and ungodly, wanted John the Baptist’s head placed on a platter. Think about that—how stinging, disgusting is that; how terrible, how awful, how ungodly, how wicked. And yet we have people today who are just as evil and wicked as they were back in that day.
But the time and hour of grace is running out. For those of you who don’t know the Lord, it is time for you to turn to Him right now. Forsake your wicked ways; turn to the Lord. Humble yourselves, seek His face, and pray—seek His face and pray. Come to the water of life and drink it; be born again by the Spirit of the Living God and receive His Spirit in your life and the gift of righteousness.
Jesus will dwell in your heart by faith, and you will see many, many wonderful things that the Lord will do—and He will honor His word in your life. He will honor His word in your life. Do you believe that I do? Hallelujah. Excuse me, folks—my nose is itching like crazy today. Thank You, Lord—what a blessing, what a blessing.
Let’s look at Mark chapter 16—Mark chapter 16, and we’re going to look at verse 14 later. Jesus appeared to the 11 as they sat at the table, and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart. Think about that—after all the years they had been with Jesus, they still had unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had been risen.
And He said to them, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned—and these signs will follow those who believe.” Now, listen to this: these signs will follow those who believe.
Are you a believer? Are signs following you? That’s a question asked, right? If you’re a believer, signs should be following you, according to what Jesus said. In my name, they will cast out demons—powerful, powerful stuff right there, just like Jesus cast out demons. They had never seen a demon cast out before Jesus came and walked the earth, but He had power and authority over the demons.
They will speak with new tongues—glory to God. I’m so grateful that I have that divine baptism of the Holy Spirit, and I can pray and speak in tongues. I can pray and speak in tongues and trust the Lord for everything that I need. Hallelujah—they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents. Wow—Paul did that, didn’t he? He was bitten by a viper on the island, and yet it had no harm or danger over him.
Think about that—and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them. It will by no means hurt them—I’ll say it again: it will by no means hurt them or bring them harm. They will lay hands on the sick and they will recover—they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Do you believe that I do? Think about that for a minute—are you exercising your faith?
ADVERTISEMENTAre you willing to share the gospel with people as you go about your day? Are you bold enough to ask people, “Hey, can I pray for you? God will touch you—I believe that; do you?” I do. So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God, and they went out and preached everywhere. They went out and preached everywhere.
Think about the woman at the well—Jesus spoke to her at the well and told her everything about her life. She left and went back into Samaria and told everyone the things that He said to her, and many in Samaria came to know Jesus. Isn’t that amazing? One person can turn a whole city—one person can put a thousand, two can put ten thousand to flight.
Do you believe that I do? He went out and preached everywhere—the Lord was working with them, confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen—do you believe that I do? Praise be to God. Oh, God is so good—He is so, so, so, so good. He is a mighty God; He’s worthy to be praised.
You will be saved from your enemies—I would like to pray for you right now. Somehow I’m sinking down in my seat—let me get myself up here a little bit. Alright, thank You, Lord. You know, God has called you—listen to me, believers, listen to me: God has called you. He’s called you to be alive during this day and this hour.
We are living at the end of the age of grace, and the Lord is going to do miraculous things. Great revivals will spring forth—the young are turning to the Lord; God is moving in the midst of young people. Blessed be the name of Jesus. I pray that your heart is touched today. I pray that you are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and that He would put a fire in you—a fire that will never kindle away.
Let God bless you, Father—I ask right now for those who are watching this message that You would touch them with Your miracle-working power. That You would confirm Your word with a sign in their lives right now. Let the word of God go forth with power, power, power, power, power, and authority—dunamis power. Lord, You now live in us; we have all been delivered from sin.
We live a crucified life—we give our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ; He is now the Lord and Master of all of our lives, and we submit to His lordship, to His purpose, and to His power. Lord, touch those who are listening right now and praying with me. Lord, give them a witness that they have heard the word of God and show signs and wonders in their lives, in the lives of their families, in the lives of their husbands and wives.
Lord, You know the needs of families in this day and in this age. I ask You, Father, to bless those who have been faithful to the call—those who have answered the call on their lives. Thank You, Lord; move in their midst. Let miracles follow them wherever they go, and Lord, You will confirm the word with signs following as they go out to meet every need—meet every need according to Your riches in glory, by and through Jesus Christ. We praise You, Lord, and we thank You that You are the mighty one of Israel.
Jesus, thank You for those of you who are watching this broadcast today, and if you don’t yet know the Lord, I pray that you would receive Him into your heart as Lord and Savior. He’s the Lord and Savior of your life, and He wants to change things in your life—He wants to do great things in and through you. Are you ready? I do.
Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of the Living God. I believe that You have called me for Your purpose—speak to my heart, Jesus; speak to my heart and show me what You want from me. Show me—what do You want, Lord? I submit myself to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Come and be the Lord of my life; save me, Jesus, from all of my sin, from every evil that I have ever committed. I ask Your forgiveness—I confess that I am a sinner and I yield my life to You. I thank You and I praise You in Jesus’ name. Amen, hallelujah.
Well, if you prayed that prayer with me today and you’d like to email me for prayer or anything at all, you can reach me at Zion Freedom Fellowship—again, at [email protected]. Once again, that’s [email protected], and when I get your email, I will answer you as quickly as I possibly can. I praise God for you—I praise God that you have committed your life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
ADVERTISEMENTThank you. Thank you, Father, for the harvest right now. We praise You for a great harvest from this message today; we give You honor, and we give You glory that You would sanctify Your people to be Your servants and set them aside for the display of Your power. Thank You, Lord—you are truly the mighty one of Israel.
Thank you so much for listening to today’s message. I pray that the Lord would bless your week—that He would cause good things to come into your life. Any problem that is laid before you, I speak forth the wisdom of God to conquer and answer every issue that comes up against your life in Jesus’ name. Let the Lord minister to you; let Him show forth His power, His insight, His resurrection power in your life according to the word of God. In Jesus’ name, amen.
