WATCH: Making ‘Bud Light Great Again’? Heir To Family Fortune Hints At Saving Brand

What happened to Anheuser-Busch and its flagship product Bud Light should be a moment of instruction for American businesses.

I have never seen a more successful boycott and such a sensational fall than what happened following Bud Light’s public relations catastrophe.

As things continue to go from bad to worse for America’s former #1 light beer brand, and mass layoffs impact the company, one man believes that he can turn things around. …

Billy Busch, the heir to the Anheuser-Busch fortune, hinted at ‘making Bug Light great again’ during a recent conversation with conservative pundit and podcast host Benny Johnson.

Johnson recently sat down with Heir Billy Busch to discuss the Bud Light brand and the fallout from the Dylan Mulvaney marketing disaster:

Newsweek had more on the story:

In answer to a question from Johnson, Busch said he’d be interested in purchasing Bud Light if its parent company puts it on the market.

He said: “I know Anheuser-Busch InBev just sold off eight brands and if they ever decide to sell the Bud Light brand they could sell it to me, I’d sure as heck try to pull some people together and buy that brand because I think we can make Bud Light great again.”

Collin Rugg also featured more from Billy Busch and explained:

“Transgender Bud Light influencer Dylan Mulvaney has cost Anheuser-Busch $27 Billion in value. Former owner Billy Busch says Bud Light is no longer America’s beer and his father & grandfather “would have rolled over in their graves.”

“I think people who drink beer, I think they’re your common folk. I think they are the blue-collar worker who goes and works hard every single day.”

“The last thing they want pushed down their throat is a beer can with that kind of message on it. I just don’t think that’s what they’re looking for.”

“They want their beer to be truly American, truly patriotic, as it always has been. Truly, America’s beer, which Bud Light was and probably isn’t any longer.”

Yahoo Finance presented this troubling development for the ailing beer brand:

Shoppers at Costco recently noticed an asterisk on the price tag for Bud Light beer across the beverage aisle.

Experienced Kirkland members have seen the sign before and call it the “death star.”

It could be an indication that one of the largest retailers in the country may be considering not restocking the troubled beer brand.
