Los Angeles Fire Chief Says His Goal Is To Put Out The East LA Fire “By Midweek”

This would be hilarious if it weren’t so maddening…

“I’m from the Government and I’m here to help”.

It seems like Government can’t even run basic Police and Fire operations any more in Los Angeles because the LA Fire Chief just held a press conference to tell everyone he has a real big goal of trying to put out the East Los Angeles fire “by midweek”.

Easy pal, don’t pull a muscle or anything!

Get to it whenever it’s convenient for you my man, no big rush it’s not like it’s a BURNING FIRE or anything.

Absolutely unreal.

Watch here:

Now for the poindexters who can’t wait to rush down to the comments and say “But Noahhhhhh, it’s more complicated than that, you just don’t understand!”

You’re right.

I don’t understand.

I don’t understand how in 2026 a fire department with the resources of Los Angeles cannot put out fires immediately, let alone over many days!

I don’t understand why they keep their reserve water reservoirs bone dry.

I don’t understand why they allow so much incompetence that entire areas like the Pacific Palisades burn to the ground.

I don’t understand any of it, and I’m really glad I don’t.

Because the moment any of that starts making sense to me is a very dangerous moment that I hope never comes.
