Texas Democrat James Talarico is running for the U.S. Senate, and he just handed every voter in the state a clip they will not forget.
While talking about abortion and Roe v. Wade, Talarico referred to women as “neighbors with a uterus.”
That is the whole party in one phrase. Democrats spent years refusing to say what a woman is, and now one of their candidates has decided a woman is a body part with a zip code.
Watch the short Rumble clip that set off the latest round of criticism:
The footage is doing the rounds online, and conservatives are not letting it slide.
The line came while Talarico was trying to frame himself as the caring, faith-friendly Democrat. The result was the opposite.
The Rumble clip started moving across X with the same simple takeaway:
Democrat James Talarico Calls Women ‘Neighbors with a Uterus’ in Cringe Rant. When they tell you who they are, believe them.

You cannot claim to defend women while erasing the word from your own sentence.
Breitbart covered the moment and the reaction it kicked off.
Here is the clip circulating on Rumble so you can hear it in his own words.
This is what happens when a politician tries to thread the needle between the abortion lobby and ordinary Texans.
He ends up dehumanizing the very people he claims to be protecting.
Breitbart’s report also circulated as conservatives pointed to the broader Democrat language problem:
Texas Democrat Senate Hopeful James Talarico Refers to Women as ‘Neighbors with a Uterus’. To crazed democrats there are men but no women.

Townhall flagged the same exchange and the backlash building around it.
Texas is not California. Voters there tend to notice when a candidate cannot bring himself to say the word “women.”
And they notice when the substitute he picks is a clinical reference to reproductive organs.
Democrats keep telling us they are the party of women. Then they open their mouths and reduce women to anatomy.
Talarico said the quiet part out loud, on camera, in a Senate race he is trying to win. Texas voters get to decide what to do with that.
Breitbart reported the phrase was not a one-off:
Texas state Rep. James Talarico, the Democrat running against Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton in the U.S. Senate race, has referred to women as “neighbors with a uterus” on more than one occasion.
The Democrat used the expression while lamenting Roe v. Wade being overturned, which brought the issue of abortion back to the state level.
“Every one of our neighbors with a uterus became property of the state,” he claimed.
ADVERTISEMENTIn another clip, the Democrat talks about how “neighbors with a uterus” should be able to “control their own body” – leftist code for murdering their unborn child without repercussions.
It remains unclear what the woke Democrat uses to describe women who have had hysterectomies and therefore no longer have a uterus. It also remains unclear how this description aligns with the values of his far-left progressive allies, as they believe men, who do not have a uterus, can also be women.
This is hardly Talarico’s only bout of controversy. For example, he believes that displaying the Ten Commandments in public schools is an act of “violence” against Christianity and Judaism.
Townhall described the wider reaction to the euphemism:
But we all know that Talarico doesn’t actually respect women. Abortion harms them and — as we’ve reported — many women have been victimized by intimate partners who slipped them the abortion drug mifepristone, thanks to the Biden administration removing pretty much every guardrail and safety surrounding the drug.
We also know this because Talarico has an insulting, trans-inclusive euphemism for women: ‘neighbors with a uterus.’
What does James talarico call women? “neighbors with a uterus” pic.twitter.com/aRO4nLi5GQ
“Every one of our neighbors with a uterus became the property of the state,” Talarico said at a church.
That wasn’t the only time he used that term, though. The video cuts to another interview where Talarico uses that phrase again.
And Talarico does it after almost saying the word ‘women.’
Yet another (2024) clip of James Talarico calling women “neighbors with a uterus” – this time in the context of saying “abortion is moral.” He catches himself accidentally saying “women” and quickly corrects. pic.twitter.com/yKkqFP59Ur
What absolutely demeaning language. Women have been erased, marginalized, and made second-class citizens thanks to Democrats and their love of the trans agenda.

Texas voters can decide whether that sounds like compassion, or like a party so captured by gender ideology that it cannot simply say women.
