In recent years masks have gotten very realistic.

With that in mind, a recent appearance of a Navy SEAL on Fox News has resulted in many users on X to conclude he wore a realistic human mask after a gap appeared to be seen by the former SEAL’s neck.
Take a look:
When a so-called retired Admiral goes on Fox News with such an obvious mask, it is done to expose how operations are conducted.

Fox News stages a propaganda-for-war interview with retired Robert Harward, former Deputy Commander of U.S. Central Command.
However, it’s not what he said that’s making him go viral.

Conservative journalist Nick Sortor confirmed the video’s authenticity and provided a video of the former Navy SEAL’s full appearance on Fox News:
This is the full segment with Vice Admiral and former Deputy CENTCOM Commander Robert Harward from America Reports on Fox News at 9:04am on May 19.

Metro UK provided more details on the mask debate:
A Fox News guest’s appearance has led to online speculation claiming he is wearing a convincing human face mask.
Retired US Navy Seal vice admiral Robert Harward appeared on the pro-Trump network’s news panel discussing the war in Iran.
Speaking on the live show, Harward claimed the US president has time on his hands with Iran and that he ‘controls the narrative’ against Tehran, including with his blockade of Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz before delving into further analysis.
But some viewers were distracted from his take on the conflict due to his neck.
ADVERTISEMENTAbove his short collar, the 69-year-old retired deputy commander’s skin appeared to have a hollow dent.
It gave the rest of his neck a mask-like appearance, Reddit users pointed out in disbelief.
Social media punters went as far as to claim that the person purporting to be Harward was someone else wearing a ‘very realistic face mask.’
Eventually, one person explained what is likely to have caused the line on his neck, including a double shadow from a light and from his shirt collar, and the low quality of the video posted on Reddit of the news programme.
But some users refused to believe the logical explanation, with one saying: ‘That is a very reasonable explanation and I don’t doubt that’s [sic] whats going on, but man no matter how hard I try I cannot see it as anything other than a mask.’

What are your thoughts?
Is it a mask?
or
Just a shadow from bad lighting?
