This is a developing story.
A teenage boy was injured after a shooting near Union Station in Washington, D.C. this afternoon.
So far, it looks like he was the only victim.
Multiple gunshots were heard being fired off.

No information has been released about the suspect, and authorities are investigating.
The D.C. Police released this statement:
Alert: Shooting investigation in the Unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. The scene is secure.
The incident did not occur at Union Station.

The victim was transported to a hospital, and it looks like he will recover.

Police responded to the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue around 4:15 p.m. on Friday following a report of the sounds of gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found a teenage boy suffering from a gunshot wound on Massachusetts Avenue, NE.
ADVERTISEMENTD.C. Fire and EMS took the victim to an area hospital for treatment. He was conscious and breathing.
