Tucker Carlson has revealed what he believes President Trump will announce in his special address to the nation tonight.
Tucker in an interview with Judge Napolitano revealed a member of Congress told him that Congress was brief that a war with Venezuela is coming soon.
He continue to share that the same member of Congress told him that Trump’s national address tonight will include announcing a war against Venezuela.
Times Now reported more on tucker’s comments:
The United States is awaiting a nationally televised address from President Donald Trump as speculation grows about rising tensions with Venezuela.
Amid this, conservative commentator Tucker Carlson has suggested the President could use the address to announce a major escalation. Speaking on the Judging Freedom podcast on Wednesday, Carlson claimed that lawmakers had been briefed about the possibility of war.
“What I know so far is that members of Congress were briefed yesterday that a war is coming and it may be announced in the address to the nation tonight at 9 o’clock by the president,” Carlson said.
He added a note of caution, saying: “Who knows if that will actually happen. I don’t know. And I never want to overstate what I know, which is pretty limited in general. But a member of Congress told me that this morning.”
The address comes amid increased US military activity near Venezuela’s coastline, linked to counter-narcotics operations. The United States has stepped up deployments of warships, aircraft carriers, submarines and troops in the Caribbean and surrounding waters. On Tuesday, President Trump ordered a blockade on sanctioned tankers entering and leaving Venezuela.
Critics have argued that the counter-drug operation could amount to pressure on Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, through what they describe as gunboat diplomacy.
The White House has not publicly commented on the content of the planned address, and there has been no official confirmation of any decision to go to war with Venezuela.

NPR reported Trump will talk about his historic accomplishments in the address and did not mention anything about war:
President Trump will deliver a primetime address tonight as his approval rating sits below 40 percent and Americans feel increasingly bleak about the economy.
Though he’s recently mocked Democrats’ focus on affordability, their focus on pocketbook issues is seen as why they swept key off-year elections in November. And the president has tried to address the issue, recently hitting the road to make his economic case. He pitched supporters in Pennsylvania last week by promising bigger tax returns in April thanks to his policies, as well as promoting “Trump accounts” for children born between 2025-2028.
But his labeling of the economy as “A+++++” in a recent Politico interview was knocked by even some conservatives as tone-deaf, however.
Wednesday’s address will provide the president another opportunity to regain the economic narrative, though the White House says the speech will cover an array of issues.
“He’ll be addressing the country about all of his historic accomplishments over the past year and maybe teasing some policy that will be coming in the new year, as we head into this Christmas season,” White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told Fox News on Tuesday.
