CDC Staff Stages WALKOUT At Headquarters in Protest of RFK Jr.

Staff at the Center for Disease Control headquarters in Atlanta, GA staged a walkout today in protest of RFK Jr.’s policies — namely, his stance on vaccines.

This comes one day after RFK Jr. fired CDC Director Susan Monarez after less than a month on the job.

In turn, this sparked a wave of resignations from top CDC officials.

As deranged supporters cheered them on, several of these ousted (former) CDC leaders, along with other staff members, marched out of HQ and down the street.

Watch for yourself:

Yesterday, RFK Jr. also revoked the Emergency Use Authorization for COVID vaccines.

He’s doing everything he can to return the CDC to its original purpose, ending the nonsense of the COVID era.

And, these people hate him for it.

Axios said:

The clap out protest comes as new policies announced by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appear to be driving out senior officials.

  • On Wednesday, Susan Monarez was ousted as CDC director just weeks after being sworn in. Her lawyers immediately disputed a claim that she had left the post. The White House confirmed she was terminated.
  • Demetre Daskalakis, who was director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said recent policy changes surrounding the COVID vaccine threatened lives and there had been an “intentional eroding of trust in low-risk vaccines.”
  • Other departing officials include CDC chief medical officer Debra Houry and Daniel Jernigan, director of the CDC’s National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, Axios reported.

To give you a clear idea as to who these kind of people are, this is the man in the black suit in that video: Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, (former) Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.

It shouldn’t surprise you that this guy was appointed by Joe Biden to be his monkeypox advisor in 2022.

He should have been fired a long time ago!

On another note, even as Susan Monarez is refusing to step down as CDC Director, the White House has reportedly appointed HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill to serve as acting director.

Per Forbes:

The White House selected Health and Human Services Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill as the next acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to The Washington Post, tapping the technology investor for the role as former CDC leadership protested against the Trump administration and its contested firing of ex-CDC Director Susan Monarez.

O’Neill has been tapped to take over as the acting director of the CDC, the Post reported, citing two unnamed sources familiar with the decision who said O’Neill would maintain his role as HHS deputy secretary…

O’Neill, who was sworn in as HHS deputy secretary in June, worked with the agency in the 2000s as the principal associate deputy secretary, leading food safety regulation reforms at the Food and Drug Administration before transitioning into investing. O’Neill’s investment ventures have been closely tied with billionaire PayPal and Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel, who donated to Trump in 2016 and Vice President JD Vance in 2022. O’Neill served as the Thiel Foundation’s CEO from 2009 to 2012 and was managing director at Thiel’s venture capital firm, Mithril Capital, from 2012 to 2019. In 2016, O’Neill said drug efficacy should be proven after legalization, suggesting the FDA should approve “drugs after their sponsors have demonstrated safety—and let people start using them, at their own risk, but not much risk of safety.” O’Neill has claimed to be “very strongly pro-vaccine.”
