Newsmax Hair Stylist K*lled By Her Own Son

This is truly tragic.

A Newsmax hair and makeup stylist was killed by her son on Sunday.

Newsmax hair stylist Travis Baldwin was gunned down by her son after she attempted to stop him from committing suicide inside their home.

Her son, Logan Chrisinger, 27,  was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree murder.

The New York Post reported on the timeline of the murder:

The beloved Newsmax hair stylist gunned down by her own son tried to stop him from killing himself during a mental health episode just hours before he turned the gun on her, according to a report.

Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, frantically left her Arlington, Va., apartment at 3:20 a.m. on Sunday and raced to help her son Logan Chrisinger, who was experiencing one in a series of mental health crises, a family source told TMZ.

Chrisinger showed his mother a gun on a FaceTime call on Sunday and threatened to kill himself, causing the concerned and dedicated mother to fly to his aid in the wee hours, according to the source.

The 27-year-old had previously threatened to kill his mother and had ongoing mental health issues that were recently exacerbated by losing a job, the outlet reported.

Hours later, just before 8:30 a.m., Chrisinger allegedly followed through on those threats — shooting and ultimately killing Baldwin in her DC-area home.

Chrisigner, 27, remained at the scene of the shooting, where he was taken into custody.

The makeup artist was rushed to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Her son stayed at the scene of the shooting and was taken into custody.

Chrisigner was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

A family source tells TMZ … they believe Travis Renee Baldwin left her home around 3:20 AM Sunday to go to her son, Logan Chrisinger’s, apartment to help with a crisis. We’re told she was FaceTiming with her son that morning and he threatened he’d kill himself and flashed his gun.

The family is aware Chrisinger had mental issues going on, as he had threatened Baldwin previously … even saying he would kill her and hope she died. Chrisinger has been under immense stress lately — he lost his job and was worried about losing his apartment.

Baldwin is remembered by her family as a loving mom to her son and daughter, Adrianna. Her family says she would have done anything for her kids and her beloved pup Kai. She also loved her job and those she worked with.

Funeral plans have not yet been arranged.

Travis Renee Baldwin — a Newsmax makeup artist who worked for Greta Van Susteren — was fatally shot in Virginia over the weekend — and police say her son pulled the trigger.
