Former AG Bill Barr Reveals Who He’s Voting For In 2024

Former Attorney General Bill Barr has announced he’s backing Trump in the 2024 election.

Barr, who has spent the last two years refuting Trump’s claims of widespread election fraud, went on Fox News to share that he’s voting for Trump despite their previous fallout.

Barr told Fox News Neil Cavuto, “The Biden administration is, in fact, the greater threat to democracy.”

The former AG, who stepped down while serving under the Trump administration, stated, “The Biden administration is, in fact, the greater threat to democracy.”

Here’s what The New York Post reported:

Former Attorney General Bill Barr is backing his old boss in the November election despite their very public fallout — because he believes the “far left” is an even greater threat to the US.

Barr, 73, disputed the notion that former President Donald Trump will be worse for democracy than President Biden, and warned about the rise of the “far left.”

“The Biden administration is in fact the greater threat to democracy,” Barr told Fox News’ “Cavuto Live” on Saturday.

“I think that they have a totalitarian temper. They have bought into the progressive movement. And they’re trying to squelch opposition and freedom of speech.”

“It’s a heavy-handed bunch of thugs in my opinion, and that’s where the threat is,” Barr said at another point about the far-left.

Per The Hill:

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said the real threat in the United States is coming from the “far left” and not from former President Trump.

Barr was discussing the potential difficulties a second Trump administration might have with getting people to serve, arguing the former president’s priority will be getting people “who he feels would be more subservient to him,” which the former attorney general said is an “area of concern.”

“But at the end of the day, you have to remember I was serving in his administration,” Barr told Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto during his Saturday appearance on “Cavuto Live.” “I was fine with his policies. I think his policies were good policies. My problems came with his behavior, which I found very troubling after the election.”

Barr then stated the “idea” that Trump would take over “power” like “right-wing dictator” is not a threat facing the U.S., arguing instead the real threat to democracy is coming from the “far left.”

“The threat facing our country is from the far left and the drift that’s been occurring toward really a socialistic system,” Barr said.
