WATCH: President Trump SPEAKS OUT Following Arrest

Earlier tonight we reported that President Trump’s mugshot had been released following his arrest. …

The former President was forced to surrender to local authorities in Fulton County, Georgia on Thursday for bogus charges filed by District Attorney Fani Willis. …

Despite this unfortunate development, President Trump came out swinging and spoke to the media.

Charlie Kirk provided this statement from the 45th President of The United States: “We did nothing wrong at all. We should have every single right to challenge an election that we think is dishonest. And we think it’s very dishonest.”

Former President Trump also spoke with Greg Kelly of Newsmax, Trump tells Kelly: “I never heard the words mug shot … They didn’t teach me that at the Wharton School of Finance. I have to go through a process since it’s election interference.”

NBC News relayed more of President Trump’s conversation with Newsmax:

“It’s a very sad experience, and it’s a very sad day. For me, this is a weaponized Justice Department,” he added.”

“These are animals. These are vicious animals that have destroyed the lives of these people,” Trump said.

Benny Johnson rightly points out: “Fulton County DA Fani Willis regularly questioned election results & used her office to push unfounded election conspiracies. On the eve of Trump’s arrest in Georgia for “challenging” an election — a deep dive into the prosecutor’s history of doing the *same* thing.”

Fox News had more on the House Judiciary Committee’s investigation into Fani Willis:

The committee is demanding the district attorney’s office turn over all documentation of its use of federal funds, communications with the DOJ or its components, and any records of cooperation with officials of the executive branch.
