Tyrese Gibson Warns “They Are Trying to Normalize the Devil”

Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson appeared last month on “BigBoyTV” to promote the new Fast and Furious movie, “Fast X.”

However, Gibson diverted the conversation to warn that people “are tying to normalize the devil.”

He said that Christians need to be more vocal about Jesus.

“God will send you all the desires of your heart and that is something that I want everybody who can hear this interview to know,” Gibson said.

“As much as I’m supposed to be promoting this movie and talking about my album, I just feel like we’re in competition right now. Because they are trying to normalize the devil. The devil is on the main stage at award shows and in every video, signs, and symbols,” he said.

“And I said, you know what, we need to stop treating our relationship with Jesus like the little buddy you talk to before you go to bed at night, and not be more vocal about all the things that God means to us and all the things God has brought us through,” he added.

“Because there’s been a lot of moments that you didn’t post about but yet you know how did God decide to get me through this,” he continued.

“They’re going above and beyond to promote the devil, and it’s pissing me off. The devil worshippers used to be real secretive about going down in the basement. This secret world,” he added.

Gibson is vocal about his faith on social media, encouraging others to pray often and trust in God. In 2015, he opened up about how his faith has helped him stay focused on the important things while navigating fame.

“Fame is one of the biggest unspoken addictions,” Gibson wrote. “Over the years I’ve learned and discovered that people will do damn near anything to get it. Validation is a men’s and women’s silent killer… When you love yourself deep within, when you fall in love with Jesus and you’re completely submerged in Christ, your heart and soul is fulfilled independent of what’s in your bank account and where you are on the charts.”
