As you may know, Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife Vanessa Trump has sadly been diagnosed with breast cancer.
She has already undergone surgery and is now in the second stage of her treatment.
Tonight, Don Jr. and Vanessa’s daughter Kai Trump made a public appearance at the ESPYs in New York, where she provided us with a brief update on her mother’s health.
She spoke to Page Six:
“My mom’s doing good,” the 19-year-old exclusively told Page Six while walking the red carpet at the 2026 ESPY Awards at the Lincoln Center in New York City Wednesday.
“She’s doing better,” she added.
Kai appeared optimistic and flashed a grin while briefly talking about her mom, 48, at the star-studded event.
The recent high school graduate — who will be attending the University of Miami this fall and playing golf on the women’s collegiate team — stepped out wearing a gold dress with a high slit for the outing.
Kai accessorized her look with matching heels, a gold cuff, a watch, a diamond necklace and drop earrings.
Kai also told Page Six about the tips her grandfather, President Donald J. Trump, gives her on the golf course, “Enjoy every moment of it. It’s going to be rocky, but enjoy every moment of it.”
As for legendary golfer Tiger Woods — who is dating Vanessa — Kai said he advises her, “Be yourself, trust the process.”
Cancer is never a good thing.
But, it’s nice to hear from Kai that her mother is doing much better.
Having her mother there, especially as Kai enters the next stage of her life into adulthood, is such an important, invaluable thing.
Speaking of which, Kai Trump absolutely stole the show at the ESPY Awards this evening.
