Moving to Ireland wasn’t enough to rid Rosie O’Donnell of her decades-long case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Most recently, she and CNN’s Jake Tapper took turns discussing a few of President Donald Trump’s verbal gaffes as the host allowed O’Donnell to pretend she was qualified to diagnose the president with a terminal disease.
As Breitbart reported:
She continued, “All the medical doctors that you can get accurate, opinions of what’s happening to him because his demise is visible and, apparent to everyone who is not willfully blind. I mean, he called Zelensky Putin. He, makes the kind of mistakes that you would forgive at Thanksgiving dinner, but you would never let grandpa cut the turkey because it might be dangerous. He doesn’t know what he’s saying.”
ADVERTISEMENTTapper said, “Don’t forget to refer to the Islamic Republic of Japan, I think as well.”
O’Donnell said, “Correct? I mean, we can sit here and name them. There are so many. It’s obvious, understanding his dementia and how it’s taking over. And I know there are millions of Americans who have lived through parents and loved ones going through exactly what he’s going through.”
The interview sparked some social media criticism aimed at CNN, Tapper, and O’Donnell:
“Ewww look what he said about yoooouuuu!” Ya gotta love what passes for “News”

If wondering why Tapper would platform somebody like Rosie, it’s a pretty simple dot to connect: he’s very close with Jimmy Kimmel – and Kimmel tapped Rosie to be a guest host while he takes an obnoxiously-long two month vacation. https://t.co/F40aPurevy

In addition to predicting the president won’t “survive” until the end of his second term, O’Donnell went on to deliver another eyebrow-raising claim.
Despite her every public statement seeming to find its way back to her disdain for President Trump, she told Tapper with a straight face that it’s Trump who’s “obsessed” with her.
According to The Hill:
It included fabricated testimonials from celebrity critics — including O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, Robert De Niro and Julia Roberts, among others — talking about how “Dr. Trump” helped with their purported symptoms.
O’Donnell joked during an appearance on CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper” that she was “in good company” with the cohort of AI-generated stars.
“I seem to be, you know, the obsession he can’t get rid of,” she said.
Rosie O’Donnell on Friday dismissed an AI-generated video shared by President Trump portraying himself as a doctor treating celebrities for “Trump Derangement Syndrome” as proof that the president is “obsessed” with her.
The video, posted earlier this month on Trump’s Truth Social account, shows the president dressed in a white lab coat and stethoscope claiming to have a “treatment plan” for those suffering from the fictitious disease.
Of course, O’Donnell isn’t the only Trump critic spreading unsubstantiated claims about his health:
