After the Freedom 250 concert got derailed by over half of the lineup canceling, Vanilla ICE is speaking out.
In an appearance on Fox News, the rapper reiterated that he was “super proud” to be invited to participate in the event and doesn’t understand why so many artists jumped ship.
“What’s wrong with being patriotic?” he asked, before blasting liberals who say he shouldn’t perform “because Trump’s putting it on.”
“I’m like, so, who throws a better party than Trump?” he pointed out, before going on to add,
“Man, I’ve been to a lot of them. That guy knows how to throw a real party and they’re classy, they’re great, they’re fun, and just over the top, and amazing!”

Vanilla ICE is absolutely right.
Nobody knows how to party like President Trump! His events are certainly far superior to those of previous administrations.

The concerts would have been an amazing way to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, but they have been canceled due to so much of the “talent” backing out.
Instead, President Trump will be holding a gigantic MAGA rally.

It’s unclear if Vanilla ICE will still be performing in any capacity at the event.
He told Laura Ingraham of Fox News that he hopes he will still get to play but doesn’t know for sure. However, even if he doesn’t get to take the stage, he says he fully plans on attending.

Rapper Vanilla Ice on Thursday said that he hopes he’s able to perform at President Trump’s upcoming rally in Washington, one of several events scheduled to mark America’s 250th birthday.
The rally was announced after multiple artists withdrew from a planned concert at Trump’s “Great American State Fair.”
ADVERTISEMENTVanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle, appeared on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle” just hours after the president announced the rally, said he was unsure if Trump still wanted him to perform after the “Freedom 250” concert was scrapped.
“I hope so,” he replied when asked if he would participate in the June 24 rally. “I don’t even know. I’m here marinating. But I’m honored to even be invited for this.”
While he’s uncertain about his role in the events celebrating America’s 250th birthday, the “Ice Ice Baby” rapper said he planned to attend regardless.
“I’ll be there no matter what,” he told host Laura Ingraham. “This is going to be an epic birthday for our country. I’m honored. And it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
