It appears that the American people have largely gotten past the “woke” contagion that overtook social media and city streets from coast to coast a few years ago.
But major institutions, including professional sports, continue to keep the leftist cultural agenda alive with all manner of pandering.
And with June being designated as the month for LGBT folks to publicly display how proud they are of their sexual proclivities, one MLB team was all too happy to show its support.
The critics, as Fox News reported, had different thoughts:
On the other side of the aisle, you have the Los Angeles Dodgers. Just to keep things balanced, they step up every year and really lean into things this month. Don’t forget, this was the team that hosted anti-Catholic drag nuns three years ago during this very month.
While they didn’t do that Friday night, the Dodgers did break out some pride hats for their game against the Angels.
Naturally, MLB fans were QUICK to notice.
Here’s a sampling of the outpouring of disapproval that followed on social media:

Others pointed out that it’s not a league-wide phenomenon:

Meanwhile, Breitbart reported on another MLB team’s full-on leftist embrace:
The Chicago White Sox used an X post to proclaim their support for Mike Bloomberg-affiliated Everytown for Gun Safety, one of of the most prominent groups in the gun control lobby.
The White Sox posted their support for Everytown on “Gun Violence Awareness Day,” which is June 5:
The White Sox also noted their support of Chicago Cred, the Metropolitan Peace Initiative, Bright Star Community Outreach, and the University of Chicago Medical Center’s Violence Recovery Program.
Here’s a flashback to the previous controversy involving the Dodgers:
