Out with the old… in with the new!
That’s the tone President Trump struck on Thursday when he revealed a list of patriotic replacements.
The President revealed in a — shall we say… spirited? — Truth Social post a few of the picks that will be taking the place of the musical acts that decided to ditch America’s 250th birthday celebration.
He first hinted that there might be some big changes coming for the big night last weekend in this Truth Social post:

I understand Artists are getting “the yips” having to do with their performance on Wednesday, so I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate “Artists,” and give a major speech, rallying the Country forward like I have done ever since being President! Two years ago, the United States was DEAD. Now we have the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World. I don’t want so-called “Artists” that get paid far too much money, who aren’t happy. I only want to be surrounded by Happy People, Smart People, Successful People, and People that know how to WIN. What happened instead was the filtering out of the unpatriotic and overpriced shills.

It seems as though the BACKLASH created as a result of the musical acts trying to lash out at President Trump actually brought INCREASED EXCITEMENT surrounding the upcoming event.
When are they going to learn to stop going against Trump just because he’s Trump???
And instead of groveling at the feet of those overpaid ‘no talent’ performers — President Trump charged ahead without them, according to this from the New York Post:
President Trump revealed Thursday that he has lined up a couple of familiar voices to replace the “no talent” artists who pulled out of a festival celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
“On Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 P.M., in magnificent Washington, D.C., now totally beautified, and one of the Safest Cities anywhere in the World, and in celebration of our Country’s 250 Year History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER!” Trump teased on Truth Social.
“We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep, we’ve told them all to stay home,” he continued. “All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!”
“We will have the fabulous Lee Greenwood introducing me with what has turned out to be one of the Greatest Hits of All Time, GOD BLESS THE U.S.A., and the amazing Christopher Macchio, who will sing Nessun Dorma, Hallelujah, Ave Maria, God Bless America, and others — Not since the legendary Luciano Pavarotti has there been such a voice!” the president revealed.
The US Army Band, Armed Forces Choir, US Marine Band and Joint Armed Forces Chorus will also perform “all of your favorite Hits,” according to Trump.

So… who were the unpatriotic dropouts, and what is their problem?
Glad you asked.
In a nutshell, they all whined and complained about the ‘political’ nature of the event.
And then went on to show their own POLITICAL colors, as was reported last week by Newsweek:
The president floated the idea of replacing what he termed “highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists’” with a speech by “the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World.”
Trump stated that artists slated to appear at the event were expressing concerns about their performances.
Several acts—including Morris Day and the Time, Young MC, Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, and The Commodores—publicly withdrew from the lineup after learning the event was organized by Freedom 250 rather than the separate, nonpolitical America250 commission. The departing acts cited distinct reasons for their exit; McBride and Young MC stated they were actively misled into believing the event was completely nonpartisan, while Michaels cited severe safety concerns and online threats directed toward his crew and family.
Organizers have noted that the festival is part of a nationwide effort to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States. Of the performers featured on the event’s original promotional poster, only three are currently understood to still be participating: hip-hop artists Vanilla Ice and Flo Rida, alongside Fab Morvan, who is performing under the Milli Vanilli banner.
In a statement to The Hill on Saturday, Freedom 250 spokesperson Danielle Alvarez said: “As the visionary behind the Great American State Fair, we are excited to announce that President Trump will personally kick off this historic celebration on Wednesday, June 24 in an opening ceremony celebrating America’s 250th birthday.”
