Last week, the DOJ moved to dismiss charges against leftists accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
But now, new photo evidence could change everything.
On Friday, fences surrounding an area of the Reflecting Pool came down, revealing a view that exposed obvious cuts in the expansion joints on the side of the pool.
Photographer Andrew Leyden shared photos of the damage on X:
Cuts in the expansion joints on the side of the Reflecting Pool are visible today after NPS removed a fence that has blocked the view since June. The contractor reported this to Park Police as vandalism but we have not been able to photograph until now due to the fences. pic.twitter.com/hyjphWZ8yy

Leyden’s post caught the attention of President Trump, who shared his photos in a post on Truth Social.
In light of this new proof, President Trump is asking U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro to re-visit the Reflecting Pool vandalism case.

Now that people are able to see it up close, they are reporting pure VANDALISM at The Reflecting Pool. Thank you Andrew Leyden for your observation! The material was cut right where the video tape showed, for 300 feet or more. People were on their knees with their hands in the water at the exact location of the “slashes.” Additionally, there were witnesses to the VANDALISM, and the flexible areas of the material were cut with a knife. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro should re-visit her hastily made decision, especially since it turned out that the “gentleman” involved is a big player in ActBlue, a disgraceful fundraising SCAM, and is represented by a TRUMP DERANGED SLEAZEBAG, Political Hack Lawyer, Norm Eisen, and CREW, a group that uses “charity” for political purposes which is, to the best of my knowledge, ILLEGAL! I have been beating Eisen, a complete LUNATIC, in Court for 10 years, or more. He just keeps coming, but I always WIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP
As you probably remember, Jeanine Pirro’s job was on the line after President Trump expressed his extreme disappointment with her decision to drop the Reflecting Pool case.
The Hill provided some additional background:
The statement came just days after the DOJ filed a nolle prosequi for three individuals accused of vandalizing the pool, meaning it’s no longer looking to press charges. The department also dropped charges against David Hearn, a three-time Olympic canoeist.
Trump publicly disagreed with the investigations’ conclusions, saying to reporters in the Oval Office Monday that Pirro “folded like an umbrella” and “choked.” His response sparked widespread speculation around Pirro’s job security — as Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche deferred questions about the matter to Trump.
ADVERTISEMENT“If President Trump wanted to fire anybody within his administration, he understands he has the power to do that. So, when he makes a decision about whether to fire a U.S. attorney or anybody else, that’s his call,” Blanche told reporters on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Trump said he had not “made a determination yet” on Pirro’s as a U.S. attorney — a role appointed by the president.
Perhaps this could be Judge Jeanine’s chance to redeem herself?
