Side-By-Side Footage Of AOC Exposes Irony Of ‘Modern Feminism In A Single Video’

Over the past several years, far-left figures like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and the other members of “The Squad” have become the de facto voice of a rudderless Democratic Party.

But that certainly doesn’t mean those politicians are speaking with a unified message. In fact, AOC’s dual deference to so-called “women’s rights” and Islamic culture have forced her into a position that demands transparent hypocrisy.

And the popular X account End Wokeness put that reality on full display:

The bottom video came from a recent event in which the New York Democrat wore a head covering while speaking to an audience of Muslim men.

Here’s the Daily Mail’s report on that event:

A clip of her speech has since gone viral, showing her speaking about ‘solidarity,’ urging the crowd to be devoted to their neighbors and community to ‘bring light into the darkness.’

Ocasio-Cortez’s speech was muffled by background noise and attendees speaking among themselves.

Some claimed that the clip was ironic considering the theme of her speech, with one writing on X, ‘While AOC was preaching “solidarity” in her hijab, the male-only crowd ignored her and spoke over her.’

‘Funny how every viral clip of AOC’s Eid speech was filmed tight on her face with cleaned-up audio,’ another said.

‘Then this wide-shot video surfaced and the crowd was talking over her so loudly you could barely hear her at all. It felt more like a staged social media publicity clip than an actual speech.’

Clips of her speech evoked widespread ridicule on social media:

Meanwhile, here’s the kind of elected official AOC is using her political might to promote, per the New York Post:

Among them is Orkin, a 35-year-old longtime anti-Israel activist and lawyer for the George Soros-backed immigrant rights group Make the Road New York.

Orkin is challenging Queens Assemblywoman Jennifer Rajkumar with a platform that would raise the minimum wage to $30 an hour by 2030. The 38th Assembly District that includes Richmond Hill, Woodhaven and other parts of Queens.

Despite promoting himself as a “working class” candidate, Orkin is the scion of famed tush doctor Bruce Orkin and grew up in the wealthy Maryland suburb of Rockville.

The lefty candidate, who is white, wrote his senior thesis analyzing “whiteness” at a Poughkeepsie farmers market.

Huntley is challenging Assemblywoman Stefani Zinerman for the second time, after unsuccessfully taking her on in 2024 in Brooklyn’s District 56 that takes on Bedford-Stuyvesant and Crown Heights.

Huntley, who worked as a fashion designer and clothing salesman, caught flack in his last race for living outside of the district in a posh building that received developer tax breaks that he railed against as a candidate.

He told City and State in a 2025 interview that he has since moved into the district.

The 41-year-old candidate’s freebie-filled platform pushes to eliminate tuition at SUNY and CUNY schools as well as eliminating bus fares like Mamdani – which would cost the state billions of dollars.
