President Trump is scheduled to visit Walter Reed National Military Medical Center today.
The 47th President is scheduled to visit Walter Reed to undergo a routine medical assessment.
Trump who is 79 years-old has routinely taken pride in his health and has on numerous occasions shared that he has passed his cognitive tests at Walter Reed with flying colors.
MSN reported more on Trump’s upcoming visit to Walter Reed:
President Trump on Tuesday will head to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for what the White House has described as his annual dental and medical evaluations.
The White House said the trip, which was announced on May 11, will include his “routine annual dental and medical assessments as part of his regular preventative healthcare.” He is also set to meet with service members and staff.
The Tuesday visit follows an October trip to Walter Reed, which the White House described as both a “routine yearly checkup” and a “follow-up” examination, six months after an April 2025 annual physical. Ahead of the October appointment, the president described his visit as a “sort of semi-annual physical, which I do.”
On May 2, the White House said the president attended a “scheduled dental appointment at his local dentist in Florida.” It’s not immediately clear why the president has an annual dental examination.

ABC News reported more on Trump’s chronic venous insufficiency diagnosis:
President Donald Trump underwent medical testing after he had been seen with deep bruises on his hand and swollen legs in recent days, and was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Thursday.
Leavitt said Trump noted “mild swelling in his lower legs,” which prompted the White House medical team to evaluate him. They concluded that Trump has chronic venous insufficiency — a condition in which there isn’t adequate blood flow in the veins in the legs. This can cause the blood to pool, causing swelling in the lower legs.
ADVERTISEMENT“The president underwent a comprehensive examination including diagnostic vascular studies, bilateral lower extremity intravenous doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70,” Leavitt said in the Thursday White House press briefing.
