A young boy in Alabama who is battling cancer just got a hopeful new chance after the Trump administration stepped in to help.
15-year-old Will Roberts has stage-four bone cancer.
Sadly, his chemotherapy treatment wasn’t working, so he put out a video on social media asking if anyone with connections to the White House could help.
Here’s that video:

Heartwarming story:
15-year-old Will Roberts from Alabama, who’s been battling stage four bone cancer for 16 months, made a desperate plea for help on his mom’s Facebook.
After it reached the Trump administration, they stepped in and helped connect him with an experimental treatment in Santa Monica, California.
Will flew across the country and has already started treatment.
This kid’s fight is incredibly inspiring, and it’s great to see real help come through.
Eventually, the video reached the Trump administration.
First Lady Melania and Dr. Oz arranged for Will Roberts to fly out to Los Angeles to receive some cutting-edge treatments that could save his life.
The New York Post reported further:
An Alabama oil tycoon and real estate developer, Ric Myers, saw the message and forwarded it to Trump, AL.com reported.
ADVERTISEMENTIt then spread across the administration — from First Lady Melania Trump to Kennedy to Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Oz put the family in touch with the Sarcoma Oncology Center in Santa Monica, which offers “innovative clinical trials and experimental treatments to offer hope for those facing hard-to-treat cancers.”
Will made an appointment and flew across the country for treatment, thanking his backers for helping get him to the Golden State.
“Man, y’all care so much for me to get this drug and I appreciate it so much,” the teen said in a video posted to Facebook.
He’s expected to receive three 30-minute treatment sessions per week as he aims to overcome his cancer.
But the medical costs are enormous. The treatments will cost the family $500,000, the Daily Mail reported, and they’ve already spent $100,000 on travel expenses and other medical expenses alone.
Thanks to the Trump administration pulling some strings, Will is already receiving treatment in California.

“I can’t wait to share all the blessings of God being in our story throughout this journey. This family is one He put in our path,” his mother said on Facebook.
“Complete strangers who have opened their home to us and allowed us to land somewhere safe until we can navigate here and find our way……our first appointment is at 12 pm [today], which is 2 Alabama time.”
“We continue to be so blessed. We arrived safely, and I know God is with us.”
