A RINO bloodbath is taking place tonight in Indiana…
Several Trump-backed candidates have won the GOP primaries tonight, ousting multiple RINO state senators who opposed President Trump on an extremely important matter.
You see, back in December, a bill that would have re-drawn Indiana’s congressional districts to give Republicans a huge advantage in this year’s midterms was tanked by several of these state senators.
Tonight five of those incumbents who voted against the redistricting measure have been defeated by MAGA candidates endorsed by President Trump!
Benny Johnson broke down the wins:

Here’s a helpful overview of the Trump-endorsed MAGA challengers who won tonight:
- Trevor De Vries defeated incumbent Sen. Dan Dernulc (District 1). De Vries is a lifelong Northwest Indiana (St. John) resident, Purdue University graduate, insurance professional, family man with four daughters, and local Republican precinct committeeman. He campaigned as an America First conservative focused on faith, family, freedom, small businesses, and farmers.
- Brian Schmutzler (Dr. Brian Schmutzler) defeated incumbent Sen. Linda Rogers (District 11). He is a board-certified anesthesiologist (Chief Anesthesiologist/Medical Director), physician with a PhD from Indiana University School of Medicine, MAHA supporter, husband, father, and lifelong Hoosier emphasizing faith, family, freedom, fiscal conservatism, life issues, and personal responsibility.
- Blake Fiechter defeated incumbent Sen. Travis Holdman (District 19; Holdman was Majority Caucus Chair). Fiechter is a sixth-generation Wells County resident, real estate broker, small business owner, Bluffton City Council member (elected 2023), husband, and father. He ran on an America First/constitutional conservative platform stressing small towns, farmers, working families, pro-life values, and opposition to corporate welfare.
- Tracey Powell defeated incumbent Sen. Jim Buck (District 21). Powell is a Tipton County Commissioner (since 2020), chiropractor, farmer, small business owner, and lifelong Hoosier. He focused on bridging local/state government, cutting taxes/regulations, property rights, schools, and Hoosier priorities.
- Michelle Davis (State Rep. Michelle Davis) defeated incumbent Sen. Greg Walker (District 41). She is a current Indiana House member (since 2020), former Division I athlete, Johnson County lifelong resident, Director of Adult Education, and advocate for women’s sports, education, workforce development, and conservative values.
Only one Indiana state senator managed to hold on to his seat.
Another race was too close to call.

One district is headed to RECOUNT territory and is way too close to call.
INDIANA IS MAGA COUNTRY! Trump went against the Indiana RINO machine!

NBC News reported further:
Trump exacted revenge on Indiana Republican legislators who foiled his redistricting push last year in the state, backing challengers who unseated five incumbents in today’s primaries, NBC News projects.
One other GOP state senator who faced a Trump-endorsed opponent was locked in a tight race, while another survived.
The double-digit defeats of the five incumbents, some of whom were veterans of the Indiana Legislature, underscore the influence Trump continues to wield over the Republican Party, even as his approval rating among Americans broadly sags amid rising gas prices and the Iran war.
Trump’s intervention in the typically quiet local primary races brought a flood of money and national attention to Indiana. Roughly $12 million was spent on advertising across the seven contests with a Trump-endorsed challenge to a sitting state senator, according to the ad-tracking firm AdImpact, most of which has come from Trump-allied outside groups opposing the incumbents.
Some of these RINO state senators are being kicked out after serving for nearly 20 years!
