Backup here if needed:
This isn’t the first time someone has attempted to get on the White House grounds during Trump’s presidency.
Newsweek reported on a prior incident that occurred in 2025:
A man was arrested after scaling a fence at the White House complex on Monday.
Photos showed the moment an individual, dressed in a suit and wearing blue-tinted sunglasses, was detained by Secret Service agents. It came as protesters had gathered near the White House to demonstrate against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit.
ADVERTISEMENTA Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement to Newsweek that “an individual scaled the fence on the southeast side of the U.S. Treasury Building and was arrested by U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers for unlawful entry.
“He was subsequently transported to Metropolitan Police Department’s 2nd District for processing. There was no impact to our protective operations.”
