“Thank you @KidRock. @USArmy pilots suspension LIFTED. No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots,” Hegseth said.

More from the Associated Press:
Earlier, a U.S. Army spokesperson said the crews of the two AH-64 Apache helicopters from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Campbell were suspended from flying, pending an investigation into their actions. The suspension was a discretionary — but not unusual — step when an investigation is underway, Maj. Montrell Russell said in statement.
The Army would review whether the flight complied with FAA regulations and aviation safety protocol, Russell said in the statement, which he emailed fewer than three hours before Hegseth’s social media post. The Army takes “allegations of unauthorized or unsafe flight operations very seriously and is committed to enforcing standards and holding personnel accountable,” the statement said.
Asked about Hegseth’s announcement, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Joel Valdez said he had nothing to add to the secretary’s social media post. An Army spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Kid Rock, who is an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, told WKRN-TV on Monday that it’s not uncommon for helicopters from nearby Fort Campbell to fly near his home. He said he is a big supporter of the military and he’s performed for troops overseas in Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries.
“It’s not the first time they’ve flown over my house. They’re out of Fort Campbell,” Kid Rock said.
“I was there last Thanksgiving with JD Vance, and I’ve talked to some of these pilots,” he continued.
Kid Rock said he told the pilots they’re always welcome to fly by his house.
“So they just happened to be coming this way. So I walked over here and I’m like, yeah, h*** yeah! And then they circled back around and came out right over here,” Kid Rock continued.
“And so I just, you know, gave him a salute and, you know, kind of a thank you. And man, it was a level of respect that I got that no award or record sales could ever do,” he added.

Fox News shared further:
The AH-64 Apache helicopters reportedly flew over the No Kings protest in downtown Nashville earlier in the day.
“Fort Campbell leadership is aware of a video circulating on social media depicting AH-64 Apache helicopters operating in the vicinity of a private residence associated with Mr. Robert Ritchie (also known as “Kid Rock”). The command has initiated an investigation to review the circumstances surrounding this activity,” Maj. Jonathon Bless, 101st Airborne Division Public Affairs Officer, told local WKRN.
“The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell maintain strict standards for aviation safety, professionalism and adherence to established flight regulations. We take all concerns regarding aircraft operations and their impact on the surrounding community seriously.”
“These helicopters were flying a route in the Nashville vicinity for training purposes. Any association with the No Kings Rally also happening in Nashville that day is entirely coincidental,” Bless added.
In the clip shared on social media, Rock cheered as an Apache attack helicopter hovered by his pool, which featured a life-sized sculpture of the Statue of Liberty.
“This is a level of respect that s— for brains Governor of California will never know,” the musician captioned his video.
“God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”
Any feedback?
How does that sound?
