Absolutely heartbreaking. Pray for his family 🙏🏻

Police are investigating how exactly Gracey ended up in the sea, and how he dled.

Police originally suspected foul play was involved in Jimmy’s disappearance, but now they say that his death appears to have been an accident.

From The New York Post:

A spokesperson for the Barcelona police confirmed the body belonged to the 20-year-old Elmhurst, Illinois native, and told CNN: “Everything points to it being an accident, not a criminal act.”

The Gracey family released a statement after officials first found the body, writing, “We are so grateful for the kindness and concern that has been shown for our family during this incredibly difficult time. We have made the decision to pause media interviews at this time to focus on being together and caring for one another. Thank you for respecting our privacy and holding our family in your thoughts and prayers.”
