Reverend Jesse Jackson’s funeral was held on Friday afternoon in Chicago.
Several well-known figures attended, including Barack Obama, Joe and Jill Biden, and the Clintons.
Joe Biden not only attended but also gave a speech at the funeral.
However, as usual, Biden had a rough time behind the podium.
During one part of his speech, as he attempted to tell a joke, he claimed he was smarter than most of the people in attendance:

Biden also wasted no time attacking President Trump:

NBC News reported more on Biden’s remarks:
Former President Joe Biden spoke of Jackson’s generational impact in remarks at his funeral, saying the reverend “believed in his bones in the promise of America.”
ADVERTISEMENT“He used his gifts to influence generations, generations of Americans and countless elected officials, including presidents, as you see here today,” Biden said. “And through his impassioned words on the campaign trail and through moments of quiet courage, he changed history in ways.”
The former president commended Jackson’s belief that “everybody deserved to be treated equally throughout their lives.” Biden then critiqued the Trump administration, saying, “Now we’re in a tough spot, folks.”
“We got an administration that doesn’t share any of the values that we have. I don’t think I’m exaggerating a little bit,” Biden continued.
“He knew who we were at our best, and he simply refused to let us off the hook as a party, as a nation, or as individuals,” Biden said of Jackson. “He helped lead us closer to fulfilling our nation’s promise of restoring the nation’s soul.”
Kamala Harris was also spotted at the funeral:

She was also asked to speak, where she began her opening remarks by making a dig at Trump:
