WATCH: Activist Journalist Who Stormed Church Films Moment Federal Agents Show Up to Arrest Her

This morning, Don Lemon and several others who participated in storming a Minnesota church to intimidate Christian worshipers were arrested.

One of the church-stormers, whose name is Georgia Fort, went live on Facebook as federal agents showed up and surrounded her home to take her into custody.

Watch that moment here:

Fort is a Minnesota activist who claims to be an independent journalist.

Newsweek has more:

Fort, who is an independent journalist working out of Minneapolis, has covered the unrest that has broken out across the Twin Cities in recent weeks after the Trump administration ramped up immigration enforcement efforts there.

In the video shared Friday morning, Fort said federal agents at her door had told her they had secured a warrant for her arrest after being able to secure one from a grand jury sometime in the past 24 hours. She said she understood she would be taken to the Whipple Building, a federal building in Minneapolis.

“My children are here, they’re impacted by this,” she said. “This is all stemming from the fact that I filmed a protest as a member of the media.”

Fort went on to say she did not have much time before agents could be heard demanding she come to the door, and the video abruptly ended.

Fort’s attorney, Leita Walker, said the independent journalist had been arrested at her home in St. Paul at about 6 a.m. Friday. She’s scheduled to make her initial court appearance on Friday afternoon.

Eventually, Georgia Fort gave in and went peacefully with the agents after talking to her lawyer.

Here’s another clip from this morning’s livestream right before she walked out to be arrested.

Pam Bondi confirmed that Georgia Fort was one of the agitators arrested for storming the church:

Newsflash to Georgia: if these agents were really as “aggressive” as she’s making them out to be, she wouldn’t even be allowed to livestream on Facebook!

In reality, the whole process of arresting these agitators has been very lawful and by-the-book.

The only thing that was “aggressive” was the way these disruptors intimidated Christians — including children — at that St. Paul church.

It’s simple. They committed a crime, and now, it’s time to do the time!

Journalists aren’t immune from the law. They can’t hide behind badge of the press in order to escape accountability.

This sums it up perfectly:

What happened at Cities Church wasn’t “journalism” or peaceful protest—it was a deliberate, uninvited disruption of sacred worship, barging in on families (including kids) mid-service to push a political agenda. That kind of intrusion traumatizes people in their most vulnerable spiritual moments. The fact that Georgia Fort and Don Lemon are now facing federal charges for their alleged roles in it doesn’t shock me; it’s long-overdue accountability.

Press credentials don’t grant a free pass to trespass, intimidate congregants, or turn a house of God into a stage for activism. If the roles were reversed and a group stormed a progressive gathering shouting slogans, the outrage would be deafening—and rightly so.

Praying for justice, healing for that congregation, and a reminder that the First Amendment protects reporting, not criminal disruption. No one’s above the law, not even those holding a camera or a microphone.

Thoughts and prayers for everyone involved—especially the children who just wanted to worship in peace. 🇺🇸🙏
