Theo Von Addresses Strange Show, Says "I am NOT suicidal!"

I am not piling on at all….just reporting the news.

I like Theo Von. He cracks me up. He seems like a genuinely good guy.

But he’s in the news this week for having a really bad show that Netflix was taping for a new comedy special, and it reportedly went so bad that he was going backstage to get the punchlines to his own jokes from someone.

And then this clip got blown out of proportion where he joked about having a long week and trying not to kill himself:

Fans were reportedly leaving before the end of the show.

He was even going back stage to have someone feed him the punchlines.

Some speculate he relapsed on drugs.

He recently addressed the whole incident on his show, stating that he is NOT suicidal and he didn’t mean to make light of it or make a joke about it.

Um, I would never take my own life. I would never take my own life. Okay? You hear that, Israel? I would never take my own life.

I’m grateful to God for His grace in my life. I love my siblings. I have so many friends and people that love me and people that I want to see their children grow up.

I’m hopeful that I get to have a wife and meet my own children one day. There are a ton of things in my life that keep me alive and hopeful, right? I want to be able to have an impact in the world. Those are just a few of them, probably, you know?

I mean, so many moments we’ve shared on this show that I’m like, “Oh, I live for those things.”
