Nancy Pelosi Comes UNHINGED as Narrative Collapses: “Tell Them to Go F**K Themselves”

The narrative being peddled by the Trump-hating left is collapsing.

The unintended consequences of their NEED to counter President Trump at all cost is starting to come into view.

And with a government shutdown looming sometime around midnight tonight, Democrats are desperate to spin their own creation into a PR victory in the press.

In short, they are trying to blame Trump for the house that DEMOCRATS built.  (Nothing new under the sun!)

Their chosen issue is healthcare.

After all, free healthcare is a Constitutionally protected “right” for every HUMAN ON EARTH, to be provided at the expense of the American taxpayer.

Or at least funded by digital greenbacks ‘printed’ in the NAME of future taxpayers — didn’t you know?  (Right…)

That’s the deeply held point that the Democratic leadership is pinning it’s unwillingness to work with President Trump on funding the government.

While simultaneously claiming that REPUBLICANS are actually the ones refusing to fund the government — because Democrats won’t allow the Republicans to strip healthcare and Medicare and etc… from AMERICANS.

President Trump and Congressional Republicans, meanwhile, vehemently refuse to give Democrats what they claim the blue party is demanding — free healthcare for ILLEGALS.

There’s a lot to unpack there.  (And we will!)

And it appears that the Trump Administration’s solid backbone and refusal to give in to the Democrats’ demands on that issue is leading to the Democrats’ FALSE NARRATIVE coming unraveled.

President Trump has called the Democrats’ bluff!

Under that pressure, Democrats are melting down left and — well… pretty much just left.

And America’s favorite get-rich-quick former Speaker of the House, Mrs. Nancy Pelosi, has RAISED THE BAR when it comes to throwing a tantrum.

All while a clean spending bill that is sitting on the shelf — ready to be approved just like DOZENS before it with Democrat support — will likely remain sitting on that shelf for awhile, yet.

But first, let’s have a look at the moment that provided me the headline for this story.

And I’ll tease up front that President Trump has responded to what we’re about to see.

We’ll cover that momentarily, and pull the threads of the deceit being employed.  (And the TRUTH of the conflicting narratives.)

First, here’s Nancy Pelosi completely losing her $&*% during a press conference with NBC affiliate cameras rolling:

Like any good gaslighter, Pelosi wrapped her OWN words in blame for President Trump, claiming she was only quoting the President.

And I STILL can’t figure out why this EXTREME reliance on expletives has made it’s way into the short-list of the Democrat Party’s media playbook!?

Regardless, a concerted effort to undermine President Trump and the Republican position on the imminent shutdown is playing out.

And while top Democrat personalities are melting down because their soundbites carry no weight with the majority of Americans…

The left-leaning media is attempting to carry out THEIR side of this ambush on truth from a different angle: by ‘fact checking’ the Administration.

Case in point, check out this so-called “Fact Check” of the Republican position — only one of many such articles in the current news cycle covering the shutdown — this one by CNN:

Amid government spending negotiations, President Donald Trump and other GOP leaders are accusing Democrats of demanding free health care for “illegal aliens” in return for their support of a federal funding bill.

But Trump and Vance’s assertions are not true. The Democrats are drawing a line in the sand over health care, but it doesn’t involve undocumented immigrants.

The Democrats are pushing to continue more generous federal subsidies to help Americans afford Obamacare policies and to reverse deep cuts to Medicaid contained in Trump’s sweeping domestic policy agenda package. But neither of those changes would provide health coverage to undocumented immigrants, since they aren’t eligible for either program.

The Democrats’ top priority is extending the enhanced federal subsidies for Affordable Care Act coverage. The beefed-up assistance, which was enacted as part of the Biden administration’s Covid-19 rescue package in 2021, is set to expire at the end of this year. If it lapses, premiums for Obamacare policies in 2026 are expected to skyrocket by more than 75%, on average, according to KFF, a nonpartisan health policy research group.

The enhanced subsidies have enabled many lower-income Americans to obtain coverage with no or very low monthly premiums and broadened eligibility for assistance to many middle-class consumers. The assistance helped attract a record 24 million people to sign up for coverage this year, roughly 92% of whom are subsidized.

It’s important to note that undocumented immigrants have never been eligible for Obamacare subsidies, and the Republicans’ One Big Beautiful Bill Act narrowed the eligibility of certain legal immigrants.

Asked for comment, a White House spokesperson pointed to the Democrats’ push to overturn the Republicans’ health care cuts, though that would broaden health care access for immigrants with legal status, not undocumented immigrants. (Emphasis added.)

Here are a few of my takeaways to clarify the issues:

  • President Trump says the Democrats are demanding a measure be included in a spending bill to fund the government that would PROVIDE FREE HEALTHCARE to illegals.
  • Democrats are essentially saying, “Nu-uh… Republicans are trying to strip existing healthcare coverage from Americans, and we want a provision to keep that coverage federally funded!”

JD Vance has been very vocal on this topic as the deadline looms, including this cut-and-dry post a few days ago:

And here’s Pelosi again… carrying the Democrats’ agreed-upon talking point that Republicans are dead-set on increasing healthcare prices for Americans:

Part of the Democratic Party’s collapsing argument, and the reason for all the melt-downs… is that illegal ‘immigrants’ have NEVER qualified for federally subsidized health coverage like Medicare, Obamacare, etc.

At least, not TECHNICALLY.  But that will come in to play in a moment.

But on that basis the Democrats are claiming that the Republican assertion that Democrats are demanding free healthcare for illegals is absurd.

But… is it?

President Trump has said exactly the same thing his VP has consistently stated, that the Democrats are bent on providing illegals with free healthcare:

Here’s the full text of the President’s post on Truth Social from last week:

The Democrats want Illegal Aliens, many of them VIOLENT CRIMINALS, to receive FREE Healthcare. The Democrats want $500 Million Dollars to help Radical Left News Outfits. The Democrats want to leave DEAD PEOPLE on Medicaid and Social Security rolls, so that Criminals can continue to be allowed to receive that payment, and steal their money. The Democrats want to cut Billions of Dollars from our once vulnerable Rural Hospitals (which we fixed by giving them the largest Cash Infusion, EVER!). The Democrats want men playing in women’s sports, “Transgender” for EVERYBODY, Open Borders and, perhaps most importantly of all, a five letter word, CRIME (They like it, and we don’t!), and so many other things that will destroy America. We cannot let this happen!

And not to be left out, E. Pocahontas Warren went on one of her famous rants on the topic.

Notice how she never said anything specific, but primarily leaned on generalities to paint a picture of those bad Republicans who want to harm Americans:

The official X account of the Senate Democrats put out a similar clip of Sen. Peter Welch (D-Vermont).

Welch almost stumbled over his words and let the cat out of the bag when he mentioned “subsidies”… which got very near to the REALITY of what the Democrats are upset about:

But the White House isn’t budging, and seems completely unfazed by the onslaught of Democrat soundbites in the media and social media.

A top White House spokesperson has reiterated JD Vance and President Trump’s position, charging the Democrats’ for playing underhanded political games with America’s government according to this report from the Washington Examiner:

The White House and congressional Republicans are capitalizing on Democrats’ demands to help illegal immigrants access public services to blame them for a looming government shutdown.

“Radical Democrats” are threatening to shut the government down if they do not get their almost $1.5 trillion wish list of demands in a short-term funding deal, “including free healthcare for illegal aliens,” according to the White House. The reference is to Democrats’ requests to repeal One Big Beautiful Bill provisions that targeted illegal immigrants’ access to healthcare in exchange for their votes on a short-term government funding deal.

“The Democrats’ radical agenda was rejected by the American people less than a year ago at the ballot box; now they’re trying to shut down the government and hold the American people hostage over it,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told the Washington Examiner.

The White House’s funding deal and shutdown messaging strategy have been accompanied by action, including preparations for mass firings of government employees instead of the traditional furlough procedures.

Now, let’s get to the nitty-gritty and the truth at the heart of this entire fiasco.

While it is true that illegals do not technically qualify for federally-funded ‘free healthcare’ as you might think of it, under the UNaffordable Care Act or Medicaid/Medicare…

There are in fact 14 states which have set up their own FREE HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS which absolutely DO cater to people who have come to the United States illegally!

You might see where I’m headed with this.

But check out this story from back in May, corroborating those details as reported by Newsweek:

Part of President Donald Trump’s budget legislation, the “Big Beautiful Bill,” will seek to punish the 14 states that currently offer health coverage to people in the U.S. regardless of immigration status, including undocumented migrants.

Immigrants without legal status typically do not qualify for federal benefits, however, more than a dozen states offer various forms of health coverage to undocumented migrants.

The 14 states that currently provide health coverage to undocumented migrants are California, New York, Illinois, Washington, New Jersey, Oregon, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Rhode Island, Maine and Vermont. Washington, D.C., does likewise.

If states decide to eliminate their state-funded coverage for immigrants to avoid the penalty, more than 1.9 million could lose their health coverage, according to KFF data.

That provision in the Big Beautiful Bill WOULD have made it harder for FEDERAL FUNDS to make it’s way into the coffers that pay for those so-called STATE-FUNDED healthcare programs for illegals.

Except, in one of those backhanded deals in Congress… that provision was stripped from the Big Beautiful Bill before it’s final form.

So while technically accurate that illegals do not qualify for Obamacare or Medicare or Medicaid in their classic forms…

Those ‘state-funded’ programs in 14 DIFFERENT STATES (primarily Democratic-led states, I might add) are convenient avenues of giving illegals exactly what President Trump and JD Vance have said the Democrats want:

Free taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegals.

Fast-forward to this looming shutdown, and the provision that was stripped from the Big Beautiful Bill.

That provision would have put a big dent in the federal funds making their way to states who are funding that free healthcare for illegals.

But guess what happens during a government financial shutdown?

For one thing, ICE will continue to operate — because the Big Beautiful Bill already PRE-FUNDED all the budget ICE needs to continue apprehending and deporting illegals:

But one other thing will become instantly possible.  President Trump will be able to GUT the federal government even more than he has up to this point — as Noah reported on yesterday:

The Government Will Shutdown Tomorrow — And Play PERFECTLY Into President Trump’s Plan!

And according to this report -- COMPLETELY COUNTER to the Democrats' false narrative -- not only is Obamacare funded through the end of this year anyway, regardless of a shutdown...

But Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid will all be unaffected as well, according to these FACTS reported by Fox News:

The clock is ticking to fund government, and so far, lawmakers do not have a path forward to avert a partial shutdown.

All shutdowns are different, and the impending shutdown is no exception. However, it could have more devastating effects on the federal workforce than previous shutdowns given the administration’s orders to undertake mass firings.

Programs like Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid will continue, along with the Postal Service, Veterans' Affairs hospitals and clinics, and Immigration and Border Patrol security activities, among others.

Typically, shutdowns see thousands of federal workers deemed "nonessential" furloughed, but the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released a memo last week that directed agencies to "use this opportunity to consider reduction in force (RIF) notices for all employees" in programs that have no other available funding source and that don’t comport with Trump’s priorities if lawmakers couldn’t fund the government.

Democratic lawmakers demanded that the short-term extension at least include an extension to expiring Obamacare premium subsidies and have warned that if Congress doesn’t act, millions of Americans will see their health care costs increase.

While the subsidies don’t expire until the end of the year, congressional Democrats have noted that insurers are gearing up to send out new rates on Oct. 1. (Emphasis added.)

Maybe that's why President Trump essentially dismissed Nancy Pelosi's meltdown out-of-hand when a reporter asked him about it:

The reality is that these 14 Democrat-led states in particular -- CALIFORNIA being at the top of the list -- are between a rock and a stupid place.

They have created these 'state-funded' programs that rely on FEDERAL FUNDING in order to give FREE HEALTHCARE to ILLEGALS!

And now... their political posturing in Congress isn't working, because of the backbone of the Trump Administration.

But that money has to come from somewhere, or else they'll have to ADMIT that their promised FREE HEALTHCARE FOR ILLEGALS not only exists...

But they're in danger of having the truth exposed that they CAN'T FUND those programs because they DO rely on FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS.

Have I mentioned that President Trump and those at the top of his Administration tend to be geniuses when it comes to letting the failed policies of Democrats slam headfirst into REALITY?

With those points clarified, check out this clip from Fox News with JD Vance spelling it out clearly:

Did you catch that laugh, followed by this statement: "It's such a good contrast between what the Democrats stand for and what Republicans stand for..."

The Democratic leadership has painted themselves into a corner -- while simultaneously denying that they own a paintbrush.

It's absolutely ridiculous, and the situation that is about to play out in those states is going to provide exactly that "contrast" that JD Vance mentioned TWICE in that last clip.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi (20 years ago...) argued that borders matter, laws matter, and preventing illegal immigration was critical?:

How about this in 2007 when she argued that illegals (she even used that word!) should not be allowed to qualify for federal benefits:

Could it be that the Democrats' habit of prioritizing political posturing and grandstanding over PRINCIPLE has come back to haunt them?

Not only are they having to resort to a completely false narrative to cover why THEY are actually the ones trying to prevent a funding bill that DOESN'T include enough funds to keep their state-operated FEDERALLY FUNDED free healthcare for illegals going --

But the shutdown is going to make those programs even harder to keep going, while the programs they are trying to pretend Republicans are going to shut down WON'T EVEN BE EFFECTED!

And on top of that, a shutdown gives the President sweeping power to make cuts to federal agencies; deleting the pork of the federal bureaucracy in big ways!

In chess, a player can "fork" another player's pieces -- effectively forcing the other player to choose which piece he'll save... and which piece he's guaranteed to lose by saving the other.

In the real world, ARROGANCE tends to make that choice even harder.

It appears that President Trump has "forked" the Democrats -- and their pride is keeping them from willingly accepting the defeat of their own failed policies, as well as forcing them to watch those failed policies IMPLODE in Democrat-led states regarding FREE HEALTHCARE FOR ILLEGALS...

The very thing they have vehemently DENIED!

And just as in chess, there's a timer -- midnight tonight, I believe.

And also as in chess, a failure to cut your loss and make some sort of a BETTER decision when your bad moves have caught up with you often allows the other player to capture BOTH those forked pieces.

As we approach this Democrat-forced shutdown, I can just imagine President Trump and JD Vance sitting together in the Oval, watching until the clock strikes midnight tonight.

And the Democrats are still doubling-down on their failed policies, hoping against reality that their bad moves will somehow turn out to be winning moves.

All the while refusing to accept that they've ALREADY been checkmated.

They just don't know it yet.
