Pouring mega doses of salt in Jimmy Kimmel's wound, it was just announced that the time slot will be replaced by a special Charlie Kirk tribute on Sinclair Broadcasting Group stations:

Jimmy Kimmel is taking an involuntary hiatus.
ABC said it is pulling the comedian’s late-night talk show off the air “indefinitely” following his controversial comments about the killing of Charlie Kirk.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live will be pre-empted indefinitely,” an ABC spokesperson confirmed to The Post Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Kimmel, 57, faced backlash after he said Monday night that the “MAGA gang” was trying to score political points off Kirk’s murder after the conservative activist was shot dead on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, Sept. 10.
“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” Kimmel said during his monologue.
Nexstar Media Group, the major broadcast company that serves as a primary affiliate for ABC, confirmed that it would “preempt” Kimmel’s program in the wake of his remarks.

MEMO TO BRIAN KRASSENSTEIN: this show has an entire department of researchers and fact-checkers. This was not simply a "mistake". By the time this show aired, everyone in America knew the shooter was in a romantic relationship with his live-in trans boyfriend and had become radicalized by the Far Left. There is no "mistake" here. He didn't just randomly slip up and read the wrong word off the teleprompter. He said what he wanted to say very intentionally.
I would say "you're better than this Brian" but really you're not.
Jimmy Kimmel just found out that even the Far-Left TV Networks have limits and blatantly lying about something as egregious as this has consequences.
And make no mistake, Free Speech is not under attack.
You are still FREE to say whatever you want, but ABC is also FREE to determine they no longer want to employ you. Jimmy Kimmel is not going to prison. Free speech is alive and well. He just learned about the "FO" part.
