TRANSCRIPT:
Good morning. Happy Sunday to everyone. Today is Sunday, August the 17th, 2025.
What a historic day it was on Friday when President Trump met with President Putin of Russia. What a phenomenal historic event. I’m really certain that peace is soon going to come to Ukraine with the war there and that this thing will be settled very shortly.
ADVERTISEMENTPresident Trump mentioned that he was invited to Moscow, I guess for the second meeting. So we will see what happens and please continue to pray for our nation. Please pray for the United States and for POTUS, for President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. The man is doing a phenomenal job. And I’m very grateful that the Lord is giving our nation a second chance.
All the money that’s been recovered, the fraud that’s been found out, all the things that have happened in the deep state are coming to an end. And I praise God for that. I’m so happy and excited about it. Again, please pray for President Trump every day. Just take a few minutes and go before the throne of grace and petition for President Trump.
The Lord has truly anointed this man and called him. And President Trump has gained a great love for the Lord, and he’s not ashamed to say and confess the name of Jesus Christ. So I’m very, very grateful for that.
So I’ve got a wonderful message for you today. I will share the title of it as soon as we pray.
Father, I thank you right now for this message that you’ve given me this day. Thank you, Lord, in the name of Jesus that you are going to move on the hearts of the people and everyone that’s listening, whether it’s here in this country or in other nations around the globe.
Lord, let your word go forth in power and in anointing. The anointing breaks the yoke. The anointing breaks every bondage that Satan tried to put on all of mankind because the blood of Jesus Christ redeems you and me. He redeems us and we are his servants because of the blood of Jesus Christ.
I am so grateful for what the Lord has done and what he’s about to do. You know, many of us are going through difficult times and hardships. I know I mention that a lot, but it’s the truth. We are coming into the close of the age. The age of grace is coming to an end.
And praise be to God that God is moving in the lives of his people and great revival is going to happen all over the different lands of the earth. Continue to pray. Thank you for your prayers for me. I appreciate that very much. Those of you who support this ministry and listen to my YouTube messages, I am very grateful for all of you.
ADVERTISEMENTGod be praised. He is in your midst. And I often pray for you as well. So today, Lord, let your word go forth in power and in great anointing. Let the spirit of the living God fall afresh on everyone that’s listening to this message. Cause your word to go forth in power and in authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Lord, your name is worthy to be praised. So shall we be safe from our enemies. The name of the Lord is a high tower. The righteous run under it and they are safe. Oh, blessed be the name of the Lord.
God is so good. He’s a worthy and a present help in the time of trouble. God is our victor. He is the mighty victor.
All right. The title of today’s message is Bearing His Reproach Outside the Camp.
Bearing his reproach outside the camp. Let’s start reading in Hebrews chapter 13, and I’m going to start reading in verse 7. I’m reading out of the New King James Version.
“Remember those who have rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.”
Now listen to this. We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. Now he’s talking about those that are outside of the new covenant. Even the Jews in that day that were outside of the covenant, they no longer have any right to eat of the altar that we eat from and partake from. They have no idea.
So, praise be to God. “For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin are burned outside the camp. Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate, outside the gate of the city. Outside the camp. Therefore, let us go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.”
Wow. Bearing his reproach. We’re going to talk about what that word reproach means. And then we’re going to look at other scriptures as well about this word reproach.
“For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. Therefore, by him let us continually offer sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name. But do not forget to do good and to share. For with such sacrifices, God is well pleased.”
Wow. So he’s telling us that we are to go outside of the camp or outside the gate and bear the same reproach that Christ had to bear. He was mocked. He was tormented. He was beaten. His beard was ripped out. He was flogged with a cat of nine tails.
I mean, what he went through because he loved us. God’s love for you is so great. His love will never end. His love for you will never cease. His love for you will endure through the endless ages of eternity.
ADVERTISEMENTWhy? Because he is the Lord that paid the price for you and for me. And therefore, we’ve got the right to eat from the heavenly altar that the Lord has spread for us.
He has spread a table before us. This is what Psalm 23 says. He has spread a table before us in the presence of our enemies.
And you know, I’ve often talked about that particular scripture, that that table is a table of feasting. It is a table that never runs out. It is a table that never goes empty.
There’s a constant supply of food and resource on that table, and right in the midst of our enemies where they cannot touch us. The demon powers, the demon so-called authorities, they might sit and watch us partake from that table, but they cannot touch us.
They’ve got no right over you and me because we are sanctified and set apart by the worthy blood of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, by him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name.
But do not forget to do good and to share. Do not forget to do good. Good works stem out of our faith and our belief in Jesus Christ. We’re not saved by our good works. We can’t stand before God and boast, “Well, look what I’ve done. I’m allowed into the kingdom of God because of all these great things that I’ve done. Look how much money I gave to feed the poor.”
No. That cannot stand before God. But because you love the Lord, you want to do good works that stem out of your faith and your belief in Jesus Christ.
All right. What does the word reproach mean?
To address someone in such a way as to express disapproval or disappointment. I’ll say that again. To address someone in such a way as to express disapproval or disappointment.
It often happens when we, you and I, accept Jesus and we choose to follow him. We lose the respect of our closest family members and many times our friends. It’s a part of the price that we pay for following Jesus.
Many folks fear this happening in their lives and they don’t last long in their walk with Jesus. That’s a sad thing.
ADVERTISEMENTYou know, my cousin—she’s no longer here—but I often think about her because she got saved like a month after I did. But she could not break free, break free from heroin, abuse, drugs, alcohol, and other prolific sins that were not good.
It literally destroyed her. And when I found out, I heard on the radio coming home from work that they had found a body behind the Pimlico Racetrack in Baltimore wrapped up in a carpet. And I remember hearing that on the way home from operating a blood drive in Baltimore City.
I remember still the street I was on, driving home, and I heard that and I thought to myself, “Oh my God, can you imagine? This is exactly what I thought. Can you imagine finding out that that was your family member?”
Well, I get home. My wife gives me dinner and she waited until after I ate to tell me that my cousin Robin was dead and that was her that they found behind Pimlico Racetrack.
I was devastated because I tried to help her. I tried everything that I knew to do. Tried to get her in rehab, you know, nothing worked. And it’s just sad. Just sad.
Because she did not have a strong conversion to the Lord. I believe that her conversion was real, but it wasn’t strong enough. You know, the enemy comes in like a flood.
He comes in and attacks like a flood. He comes in, but the Lord raises a standard against him. And if you don’t know what that standard is, the standard is the word of God.
The word of God is the standard that stops the enemy. And you’ve got to continually hang on to him and to his promises and look and see and watch what the Lord will do. The Lord will do mighty things for you. He will do great and mighty, mighty things.
Praise be to God. He is so faithful. He is so faithful.
Psalm 74, verse 15.
“You broke open the fountain and the flood. You dried up mighty rivers. The day is yours. The night also is yours. You have prepared the light and the sun. You have set all the borders of the earth. You have made summer and you have made winter. Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Lord, and that a foolish people has blasphemed your name. Oh, do not deliver the life of your turtle dove to the wild beast. Do not forget the life of your poor forever. Have respect to the covenant, for the dark places of the earth are full of the haunts of cruelty. Oh, do not let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and the needy praise your name. Arise, O God, plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man reproaches you daily.”
Now, let’s see what he says. Remember how the foolish man reproaches you, speaks terrible things about God. Look at our former government. Look at our democratic government. Look at all the terrible things that they spoke about the Lord. I mean, it’s horrific when you think about it. No wonder our nation was under a curse.
But now we’ve got a godly leader who loves the Lord. Is he perfect? No. But I trust this man that God has set in office over the president of our land. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
“Do not forget the voice of your enemies. The torment of those who rise against you increases continually.”
Well, reproaches again against God. You know, enemies will speak reproach against you. They will try to divide you from your family. And you’ve got to remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
You and I overcome these things because God is in us. Hallelujah. The Lord is worthy to be praised.
Let’s go to Psalm 44:1.
“You have given us up like sheep intended for food. All have scattered us among the nations. You sell your people for next to nothing. You are not enriched by selling them. You make us a reproach to our neighbors and a scorn and a derision to those all around us. You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples. My dishonor is continually before me, and the shame of my face has covered me because of the voice of him who reproaches and reviles, because of the enemy and the avenger.”
All this has come upon us, but we have not forgotten you. Wow, that’s key right there. All this has come upon us, but we have not forgotten you. Nor have we dealt falsely with your covenant. Our heart has not turned back, nor have our steps departed from your way.
That is a powerful statement right there. You know, when all hell is breaking loose and the enemy is coming against you and he’s pounding at your house, because you’re founded upon the word of God, that is a deep rock, a bedrock in the earth. Your house is built upon a rock. The floods arise, the winds come against it, the rain beats on it, but your house will stand. Jesus said that to us, didn’t he? Praise be to God.
You and I overcome by the power of the word of God. The Lord allows us to go through severe testing to see what our response will be. Think about that. Often he already knows. He knows what our response will be, but he wants us to see how we respond.
You know, how do we respond to difficulty and trial? Do we get mad? Do we curse God? Do we get angry at the Lord? Oh, I’ve done that many times. But God is so forgiving and good. His mercy endures forever and ever.
ADVERTISEMENTAnd you and I can continue to trust him and run to him for a refuge. Remember, the name of the Lord is a high tower. The righteous run under it and they are safe. Praise be to God.
Let’s look at Proverbs 17 verses 1-6.
“Better is a dry morsel with quietness than a house full of feasting with strife. A wise servant will rule over a son who causes shame and will share an inheritance among the brothers. The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold. But the Lord tests the hearts. An evildoer gives heed to false lips. A liar listens eagerly to a spiteful tongue. He who mocks the poor reproaches his maker. But he who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished. Children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their father. Excellent speech is not becoming for a fool, much less lying lips to a prince.”
Wow. So he tells us again, he who mocks the poor reproaches his maker. You know, often people that have money look down on poor people. It’s not always their fault. We are to have a giving heart and wanting to help those who are poor.
Now, there are those that are amongst the poor of the poor that will take advantage of us. So we have to have a discerning spirit and really be led by the spirit of God. Amen. God is so faithful.
All right, let’s go to Psalm 79, verse 4 and then 12 through 13.
“We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and a derision to those who are around us.”
Now why is that? When we do not obey the Lord, sometimes calamity will come upon us. But we need to obey the Lord and we need to follow him wholeheartedly.
“And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom, their reproach with which they have reproached you, O Lord. So we are your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give you thanks forever. We will show forth your praise to all generations.”
Wow, that’s amazing, isn’t it? And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom, their reproach in which they have reproached you. You know, God is the one that pays back. Vengeance is mine, says the Lord. I will repay.
God will repay judgment to the wicked and the evil and those that have wronged us. But our job is to pray for them. Don’t wish this upon someone. Pray for them and forgive them. To whosever sins you remit, they will be remitted unto them. And whosever sins you retain, they shall be retained. We’ve got the power and the authority to forgive folks that have sinned and trespassed against us. Jesus told us to do that, did he not? Yes, he did.
ADVERTISEMENTLet’s look at Romans 15:1-6.
“We then who are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. For even Christ did not please himself, but as it is written: The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me. For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be likeminded toward one another according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Man, isn’t that amazing? That is just absolutely amazing.
Psalm 69, verse 6.
“Let not those who wait for you, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed because of me. Let not those who seek you be confounded because of me, O God of Israel. Because for your sake I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face. I have become a stranger to my brothers, and an alien to my mother’s children. Because zeal for your house has eaten me up, and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me. When I wept and chastened my soul with fasting, that became my reproach. I also made sackcloth my garment. I became a byword to them. Those who sit in the gate speak against me, and I am the song of drunkards. But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord, in the acceptable time. O God, in the multitude of your mercy, hear me in the truth of your salvation. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters. Let not the flood water overflow me, nor let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut its mouth on me. Hear me, O Lord, for your lovingkindness is good. Turn to me according to the multitude of your tender mercies. And do not hide your face from your servant, for I am in trouble. Hear me speedily.”
Wow, isn’t that amazing? Hear me speedily.
Let’s go to Zephaniah chapter 2. We’ll start with verse 7.
“The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah. They shall feed their flocks there; in the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will intervene for them and return their captives. I have heard the reproach of Moab and the insults of the people of Ammon, with which they have reproached my people and made arrogant threats against their borders. Therefore, as I live,” says the Lord of hosts, “Surely Moab shall be like Sodom, and the people of Ammon like Gomorrah—overrun with weeds and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation. The residue of my people shall plunder them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them. This they shall have for their pride, because they have reproached and made arrogant threats against the people of the Lord of hosts. The Lord will be awesome to them, for He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth. People shall worship Him, everyone from his place, indeed all the shores of the nations.”
Isn’t that amazing? God has a plan for your enemies. He will bring retribution upon those who mocked you, who have spit on you, who have persecuted you. But what’s your heart response to that? Are you willing to forgive them and turn the other cheek?
Man, I’m telling you. You know, I told you about—I think I told you a few weeks ago—about this YouTube short video I saw about a man on an airplane. He was preaching the gospel to a passenger. He had his Bible open, and this passenger was a big guy, and he kept telling him to shut up. And he kept saying, “Sir, the Lord loves you. He cares for you. He died for you. He hung on the cross for you.”
And the man got up and pushed him over. I think his Bible went flying out of his hand. But you know what the man did? He kept on ministering to him. He stood back up and he kept on saying how much God loves you. How special you are to the Lord.
And the man—listen to this—the man broke down and began to weep and cry. And he said, “I don’t know what got into me. I’m so sorry.” And he led him to the Lord.
Man, I’m telling you, it takes righteous boldness to serve the Lord, but it’s worth it if you have faith in God and know that God’s promises to you are real.
You know, I follow this one young man on YouTube. He does outdoor ministering, and he was at a place where there was a gathering and the police came up to him. They told him very nicely, “Sir, these people have this property. They have a permit to be here and they’re asking that you go someplace else.”
And he said respectfully, “Okay officer, thank you so much.” And then he said, “Is there anything I can pray for you about?”
One was a female officer and the other was a man. And he asked, “Do you have any pain anywhere in your body?” And the officer held up his hand and said, “Yeah, I’ve got a really bad back and it hurts a lot.” So he began to pray over him in the name of Jesus.
Then he said, “Okay, do something you couldn’t do before. Bend over. Do you feel any pain?” The officer said, “No.” He said, “Well, really bend and twist. Do you have any pain?” The officer said, “No.” He said, “Well, I believe the Lord just healed you.” And the guy just opened up to him.
You know what, guys? We are to be a light to those in darkness. You and I have the light and we walk in the light. It’s amazing. God is going to do mighty signs and wonders in these last days in which we’re living. If we are willing to share the gospel, that anointing will break every yoke of bondage. Every single yoke.
All right, let’s go to our last scripture. Isaiah 37, starting at verse 21.
“Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Because you have prayed to Me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, this is the word which the Lord has spoken concerning him: The virgin, the daughter of Zion, has despised you, laughed you to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head behind your back. Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel. By your servants you have reproached the Lord, and said, “By the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the limits of Lebanon; I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees; I will enter its farthest height, to its fruitful forest.”’”
Now that is amazing when you think about it. Because the Lord is saying, “Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.”
I want to say this to you: you are called to bear the reproaches of the Lord Jesus Christ. The very first scripture we read in Hebrews 13 said, “Let us go outside the camp bearing his reproach.”
We are called to bear the reproach of the Lord. And we all know what reproach means—it’s to speak evil things against someone. Look what they did to Jesus. You’re not going to escape that. We are to take on his sufferings and follow in his footsteps.
Jesus was totally honest with Saul of Tarsus when he met him on the road to Damascus. He did not hold back. He said, “I will show you the things that you’re going to suffer for me.” And Paul did. Paul went through beatings, shipwrecks, and all these other things. That was the reproach of the Lord that he suffered.
But you know what? God knows what you’ve suffered for him. God knows what you have borne for his name. And he will continually comfort you. Seek his presence. Pray to him. Get in God’s presence and rejoice and worship the Holy One of Israel.
He will pour out his spirit upon you and he will do great and mighty things for you.
Father, I thank you for this day. I thank you for this message. Lord, I pray for everyone that’s hearing this word today.
If you’re listening right now to this message and you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ, pray this prayer with me:
“Father in heaven, please make your Son Jesus real to me. I’m not sure how real Jesus is, but I want to know. Reveal your Son to me. Give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of the Lord, that I might understand and know you, Lord, and the hope of your calling. Jesus, I submit my life to you. Come into my heart. Forgive me for all of my sins. Let me walk with you. I love you, Lord Jesus, and I choose to serve you. Forgive me for everything that I’ve ever done, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.”
And if you’d like to email me, you can email me at this email address: Zion Freedom Fellowship, zionfreedomfellowship.com. That email will come to me and I will do my best to answer you as soon as possible.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Talk to you all next week in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
