Trump Administration to NYC, ICE Request 400% Increase Over Biden

President Trump and ICE aren’t playing around when it comes to cleanse New York City of their illegals.

His administration just sent out 6,000 detainers to NYC.

It’s time they handed over the illegals they’re protecting.

What is a detainer, you ask?

An ICE detainer is a request from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to a local or state law enforcement agency to hold an individual in custody for up to 48 hours beyond their scheduled release.

This allows ICE to take custody of the person for immigration enforcement actions, such as deportation proceedings, if they are suspected of being in the U.S. unlawfully. The detainer typically includes a request for notification of the individual’s release date and time, and it may be accompanied by a warrant or other documentation.

If anyone is interested, ICE is now taking applications.

The Trump administration has issued more than 6,000 immigration detainers pushing NYC authorities to hand over illegal immigrant criminals to the feds as part of its mass deportation effort, the Department of Homeland Security said Wednesday.

That’s a 400% increase compared to the Biden administration as the Trump administration surges Immigration and Customs Enforcement to sanctuary cities, DHS said.

However, “sanctuary politicians” in the Big Apple have “honored only a handful” of the 6,000 detainers, “sending violent criminals back onto the streets,” the agency said in a post on X.

“Every New Yorker should know: their sanctuary politicians are working against law enforcement and RELEASING criminal illegal aliens with prior convictions for rape, murder, and drug trafficking back into their communities,” DHS said Wednesday.

“ICE will continue to enforce the law and protect American neighborhoods,” DHS added.

Despite politicians dragging their feet, they can’t stop ICE and deportations.

The illegal immigrant problem won’t be fixed in 24 hours BUT it is a problem that is being fixed and worked on. Like a new housing tract in your area. You got used to seeing the wooden skeletons. But before you know it, they’re all done building. So too with ICE handling this mess.
