The most difficult target in Iran’s nuclear program has been struck once again.
A second wave of attacks rolled over the Fordow facility that was initially targeted by US bunker-busting bombs on Saturday night.
But this subsequent attack came directly from the Israeli Air Force.
Earlier today Israel signaled that it had launched attacks against a number of targets inside Iran.
And shortly after that announcement, the IDF confirmed it also zeroed in on the Fordow Nuclear Site in a second wave of strikes today:

Here’s the text of that post from the official X account of the IDF in case that is hard to read:
Earlier today, the IDF struck routes in order to obstruct access to the Fordow enrichment site.
The brevity of that announcement by the IDF — not at all characteristic of the IDF’s normal post-attack statements — was highlighted in this report on the secondary strikes on Fordow as covered by CNN:
Israel launched a fresh new wave of strikes in Tehran today as Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
Israel struck the access routes to the Fordow nuclear facility in central Iran, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said today. In a one-line statement, the IDF said it carried out the strikes “in order to obstruct” the access to the enrichment facility, which the US had attacked with bunker-buster bombs 36 hours earlier.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated Trump’s claim that Iran’s nuclear sites were “completely and totally obliterated.” Addressing Trump’s comments about regime change in Iran, Leavitt said the US military posture remains unchanged. “The president was just simply raising a question that I think many people around the world are asking, if the Iranian regime refuses to give up their nuclear program or engage in talks,” she told reporters.
The official Iranian State media station confirmed the location had indeed been struck again, as the IDF claimed.
That confirmation from the Iranians was reported along with this statement from the Iranian Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency regarding his take on US and Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, as reported by Sky News:
BREAKING: Iran’s nuclear facility of Fordow has been hit again, this time by an Israeli attack, according to reports.

Israel has also released this footage allegedly showing a strike carried out during the same time as their follow-up strike on Fordow.
The IDF has said it targeted an Iranian prison holding political prisoners:

Iran has corroborated the secondary strikes by Israel on Fordow this morning.
Though, Iran’s official stance is that they had already removed the key components of their nuclear program from that location, as reported by The Hill:
“The aggressor attacked the Fordow nuclear site again,” Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported, quoting a spokesperson for the crisis management authority in Qom, where Fordow is located.
The BBC reported that Hassan Abedini, deputy political director of Iran’s state broadcaster, said during a broadcast that Iran had evacuated the site a “while ago” and Iran “didn’t suffer a major blow because the materials had already been taken out.”
ADVERTISEMENTAn analysis from the independent Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists based on the most recent IAEA report on Fordow’s enrichment program concluded Iran had enough centrifuges and uranium hexafluoride gas at the site to produce several nuclear weapons.
“Fordow is, therefore, a crucially important place if one attempts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons,” the bulletin’s analysts wrote last week. “If Israel decides to continue down the military path against Iran’s nuclear program, it has no choice but to ensure that the Fordow enrichment plant no longer poses a threat.”
The CBS News affiliate out of Miami also confirmed today’s second wave strikes by Israel.
They also conveyed the rhetoric from Iran’s military leadership, which continues to threaten the United States following it’s Saturday night attack on Fordow:
It still remains unclear at the time of this writing how President Trump will respond to this morning’s unsuccessful attack on the US base in Qatar, and whether Iran is done seeking retribution for the operation that targeted their enrichment program.
And considering that Israel has continued to target Iranian nuclear sites — even after the US struck the same facilities in historic fashion — it remains to be seen whether the destruction of Iran’s nuclear ambitions has satisfied Israel’s expectations.
What is clear is that there are a lot of conflicting reports, differing assessments on the results of the initial US strikes, as well as the unknowns of Iranian sleeper cells assumed to be pre-positioned inside the United States.
I would therefore put this story well within the borders of DEVELOPING, with more information and developments likely by the day.
We will continue to bring you the stories the mainstream won’t cover, along with reporting the facts as they appear — regardless of any ‘official’ narrative.
