Another Caitlin Clark Attack: Eye Poking, Shoved to the Ground, Even Ref Against Her

I’m trying to stay more positive when reporting on the news.

Then I see this story.

That being said, I’m positive that the WNBA hates Caitlin Clark, their biggest meal ticket.

So there’s Caitlin Clark, minding her own business as she plays basketball against Connecticut Suns.

Then out of no where, Jacy Sheldon thought she was Catwoman and swiped at Caitlin’s face, poking her in the eye.

THEN she chest bumps Caitlin as she’s recoiling in pain.

So, Caitlin pushes her away.

This was enough to activate the hate in the other players on the Connecticut Suns.

One rushes up to yell in her face, another woman (a big one too) comes up from behind and shoves Caitlin in the back, causing her to fall to the ground.

What’s the referees do? Gave Clark a technical foul. It seems the whole game is against her.

Fox News reports:

A WNBA Commissioner’s Cup matchup between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun was chippy until the third quarter when tensions between the two teams boiled over.

Fever star Caitlin Clark was being guarded by Sun guard Jacy Sheldon. As Clark backed Sheldon down at the top of the key, Sheldon poked Clark in the eye. Clark was upset with the move from Sheldon and pushed her away in fury.

As Clark complained, Sun guard Marina Mabrey came over and shoved Clark to the ground as she had her back turned. Fever and Sun players came over to break up the skirmish.

Clark seemed to be OK as she went back to the bench and waited for the referees to determine their next course of action.

Sheldon’s common foul was upgraded to a flagrant foul. The referees called offsetting technicals on Clark and Sun veteran Tina Charles. Mabrey was also hit with a technical foul and avoided ejection.

How dare she be this good!

At this point, you gotta wonder if they’re planning the fights.

I wouldn’t put it pass the multi-billionaire owner. Surely he notices that more attention is given when a fight like this breaks out. More attention means dollar signs.

Surely Clark has some sort of legal avenue to deal with this constant bullying.

Let’s pray this comes to an end soon. Because I don’t think WNBA is going to fire half of their players, which it seems that’s how many hate Clark.

Here’s a longer clip:

Caitlin Clark exposes the hate that’s been lying unnoticed in that industry.

As someone stated in the comments on the Fox News article:

“It’s time to call it what it is…assault and battery enhanced by a race crime.”

How would you approach this?
