EXCLUSIVE: Deep State operatives are trying to derail President Trump’s NASA Administrator pick Jared Isaacman before his Senate confirmation vote this week.
ADVERTISEMENTA well-placed source tells me Jared Isaacman’s nomination to be the next Administrator of NASA was set for a final Senate confirmation vote early next week, but DC insiders are now trying to convince the White House to pull the plug on Isaacman before his confirmation vote.
The final decision to pull Isaacman’s nomination could come as soon as Monday.
There is reason to believe that Isaacman may be facing retaliation because of his friendship with Elon Musk.
If so, this would suggest there is a coordinated hit job on Isaacman in an effort to damage ties between President Trump and Elon Musk before the 2026 midterms, even though the two of them just held an Oval Office meeting and press conference yesterday where POTUS
praised Elon for for his generosity, his work at DOGE, and even gave Elon a key to the White House. Is President Trump aware of the ulterior motives by some individuals in the administration who have an interest in seeing Isaacman’s nomination pulled?
The rumors have since become reality.
President Trump picked young tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman to head the NASA space program in December.
However, Isaacman’s dreams of being the next head of NASA had come crashing down just days before he was set to be voted on in Congress.
The Hill reported more on Isaacman’s nomination being pulled:
The White House on Saturday said it will pull the nomination of tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman as NASA administrator.
ADVERTISEMENT“It’s essential that the next leader of NASA is in complete alignment with President Trump’s America First agenda and a replacement will be announced directly by President Trump soon,” a White House spokesperson told The Hill.
The Senate was slated to vote on his nomination in the coming days.
Isaacman worked alongside tech billionaire Elon Musk at SpaceX to fund the company’s first private spacewalk, and he was one of four astronauts aboard the Polaris Dawn flight this fall. He is also the founder and CEO of Shift4, a payment processing company.
Isaacman testified before the Senate in April as a part of the confirmation process. He advanced out of committee in a 19-9 vote.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune filed for cloture to vote on Isaacman’s nomination on May 22.
It is not immediately clear why the president pulled his nomination on Saturday. The move was first reported by Semafor.
Many MAGA supporters are unhappy with the decision:
NEWS: Jared Isaacman, President Trump's pick to be the new head of NASA, has been told by the White House that his nomination will be rescinded.
This sucks. I can’t think of a better person for the job than Jared. pic.twitter.com/bLoe0yuBYw

Isaacman has received broad support among the space community.
Per WLWT:
Isaacman, who has twice traveled to space on private missions and has close ties to SpaceX chief Elon Musk, sent shock waves through the space community when Trump first tapped him for NASA administrator in December, CNN previously reported.
Isaacman’s appointment was also met with broad support in the space community, which viewed him as a passionate leader, and his spaceflight experience was considered a bonus. Isaacman, the CEO of payments platform company Shift4, was viewed with deep skepticism by Democratic lawmakers concerned he would use his position at NASA to advance Musk’s personal interests.
The reasons behind Trump’s sudden reversal were not clear. During Isaacman’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation in April, he signaled he would back an effort to land humans on Mars. The remarks were notable because NASA has been squarely focused on the Artemis program, which aims to return astronauts to the moon, since Trump’s first term
