Gene Hackman Spotted In Public, Unrecognizable At Age 94

I’m not sure what is going on recently, but all of a sudden a lot of guys I remember as tough 50 year old dudes suddenly hit their 90s!

First we had Clint Eastwood showing some years at Age 93 a few days ago (I’ll copy that full report below) and now we have Gene Hackman completely unrecognizable at Age 94.

Let me be clear upfront, I’m not here to pick on anyone or say they look bad.

No way!

I hope to still be alive and kicking when I hit that age.

And they’re not only alive and kicking but still active and doing great it looks like.

That said, man have they changed.

If you showed me a picture of Gene Hackman right now and gave me 100 guesses to guess who it is, I’m not sure I’d have picked him out.

What do you think?

Watch the video here:

To anyone who is saying he looks “scruffy”….come on man!

Dude is 94 and still hitting up the gas station!

It is crazy though….why do your ears keep growing the older you get?

What the heck?

For reference, if you’re like me you still remember him looking like this:

But time comes for us all….and there are only two things undefeated in life:  (1) taxes and (2) death.

Here’s what the NY Post had to say:

Reclusive Gene Hackman is back.

After retiring from acting in 2004, Hackman, 94, has stayed out of the spotlight.

In new photos obtained by The Post, the retired Oscar winner was spotted enjoying a stroll, clad in a baseball cap, vest and flannel shirt in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on April 5.

The “Mississippi Burning” and “Bonnie and Clyde” star looked sporty and outdoorsy, similar to how he looked during a recent public outing with his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 62, on March 28.

The actor has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico, since the ‘80s.

He married Arakawa, a pianist, in 1992, but is rarely seen in public with her.

She’s his second wife, after Faye Maltese, who he divorced in 1986 and had three children with.

Hackman gave an interview to Larry King in 2004 where he revealed that he rarely did interviews because, “I don’t like to talk about myself that much. I don’t know. It’s the same as watching myself on film, it makes me uncomfortable. I love doing the acting. I love that part of it.”

“The French Connection” star added, “When I’m doing it, I’m just totally enraptured. But when I see myself up on the screen, it’s that — I see my grandfather there or something, you know? I see — you know, I think of myself as being 21. You do, too, I know. Yes. But then, when you see yourself, it’s a whole different story.”

During that 2004 Larry King interview, Hackman, who spent four years in the Marines before turning to Hollywood, said that he got into it because of his mother.

Meanwhile, if you missed it, here is Clint Eastwood recently at Age 93:

“Very Disheveled” Clint Eastwood Makes Surprise Appearance At Age 93

Those were Fred Greenstein’s words, not mine. He attended an event called ‘Reasons for Hope’, and posted a photo from it on LinkedIn, where he described him as “very disheveled”.

But c’mon, this is the man, the myth, the legend, Clint Eastwood himself!

And he recently made a rare public appearance just days shy of his 94th birthday!

The gig was hosted by the famous chimpanze lady, Dr. Jane Goodall down in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

And by the way, he has 1 more movie that he directed coming out soon!

It’s great to see that age ain’t slowing him down one bit.

Daily News reports:

Legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood is showing he’s not letting age slow him down after making a rare public appearance in California ahead of his 94th birthday.

The filmmaker was spotted attending a speaking event hosted by renowned conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall in his adoptive hometown of Carmel-by-the-Sea late last month.

The $95 ticketed event, ‘Reasons for Hope’, was held at the local Sunset Cultural Center, where elderly Eastwood sat front row and center.

He also joined the famed primatologist backstage at the reception open to VIP guests.

At 93 years old, the film icon – dressed in blue checkered flannel shirt, gray slacks, and sneakers – appeared advanced in age but still in high spirits, footage obtained by DailyMail.com shows.

Eastwood, whose bushy white beard and hair were in full display, was accompanied by an assistant, but was sprightly enough to get up on stage on his own.

The March 24 event, presented by the Wildlife Conservation Network, was billed as a stop in fellow nonagenarian Jane Goodall’s ’90th birthday tour’, according to the venue’s website.

Goodall celebrated the milestone days later on April 3.

A photo shared by an attendee on social media showed Goodall and a ‘very disheveled Clint Eastwood’ chatting at the reception, which took place an hour before the main event.

Like the primatologist, the Hollywood legend is no stranger to primates, having starred in 1978 film ‘Every Which Way but Loose’ alongside his orangutan sidekick Clyde.

Eastwood, who turns 94 next month, has seen a successful storied career in film – and even a two-year stint as mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea – over a span of seven decades.

Despite his advanced years, Eastwood remains active on set and is currently directing and producing upcoming film, Juror No. 2, starring Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette.

The thriller began shooting in June 2023 and is expected to be Eastwood’s last.

And while the acclaimed star is best known for his award-winning movies and spaghetti Westerns, his colorful love life often overshadowed his impressive strides in the movie industry.

The Hollywood legend went through multiple failed marriages, faced numerous allegations of infidelities, and fathered eight children with six different women over the years.

But despite being embroiled in scandal after scandal and earning a fierce reputation as a womanizer, it’s been said that Clint was an extremely dedicated father who worked tirelessly to protect each of his children and give them as normal of a childhood as possible.

Here’s him taking a dig at Biden, which is pretty funny!

I’m beliving he’ll live long enough to see this war with the ‘globalist’ finally end and will get to see President Trump return to his proper place.

He has one final directoral project left, Juror No.2.

From Wikipedia:

In April 2023, reports emerged that Eastwood would direct and produce Juror No. 2, from a screenplay by Jonathan Abrams, and is expected to be Eastwood’s final film. It will star Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, Zoey Deutch, and Kiefer Sutherland, and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film’s production began in June 2023, though it was temporarily suspended due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Production resumed in November 2023.

93 and still directing a movie. Amazing.

Here’s some highlights from his Western films.

They don’t make ’em like this anymore.
