Biden Admin BACKTRACKS, Deals Blow To Woke Pride Lobby

Have we reached peak wokeness? Is wokeness dying?

Included in the latest bloated and pork-filled government spending package was a provision that U.S. embassies must stop flying the pride flag.

Joe Biden signed the bill on Saturday, representing a rare departure from this administration’s long-standing policy positions.

The administration then issued a statement attempting to appease the LGBTQIA lobby claiming that they would work to reverse the policy, but we all know this was a statement to shut the children up.

This admin has no intention of reversing the policy, and this is a sign that this woke garbage is dying a slow, well-deserved death. Here’s everything we know so far:

Daily Caller provided the exact wording from the provision in the spending bill:

“None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by this Act may be obligated or expended to fly or display a flag over a facility of the United States Department of State other than the — United States flag; Foreign Service flag pursuant to 2 FAM, POW/MIA flag, Hostage and Wrongful Detainee flag, pursuant to section 904 of title 36, United States Code, flag of a State, insular area, or the District of Columbia at domestic locations, flag of an Indian Tribal government, official branded flag of a United States agency or sovereign flag of other countries.”

Entrepreneur and conservative advocate Brian Brown commented: “Victory. We’ve been fighting for this for years. We’re thankful to Speaker Johnson. Biden will work to repeal, so we must keep fighting.”

CBS News featured this statement from the Biden administration in response:

“Biden believes it was inappropriate to abuse the process that was essential to keep the government open by including this policy targeting LGBTQI+ Americans,” a White House statement said, adding that the president “is committed to fighting for LGBTQI+ equality at home and abroad.”
