JUST IN: NATO Accepts Its Newest Member State—WWIII Imminent?

The North Atlantic Treaty

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has just accepted its newest member state.

Sweden has officially become the 32nd country to join the alliance in a move that is clearly an escalation against Russia.

All nations surrounding the Baltic Sea, except for Russia, are now in NATO.

How this move will bring about a safer, more secure world is beyond me, and it shows that the ‘leaders’ of the world seem hellbent on pursuing a third global war.

This latest development tracks with the current financial unraveling we are seeing in the Western world—particularly in the inflation of the U.S. dollar.

Eminent economist and hedge fund manager Ray Dalio has long warned of the intersection between the collapse of a global reserve empire and the ensuing global war that shifts the global order.

I believe we are entering one such period right now. The lines are being redrawn so to speak. Multiple outlets confirmed on Thursday:

Reuters explained:

The accession of Finland last year and soon Sweden, which has not been at war since 1814, is the most significant expansion of NATO since it took in members from eastern Europe after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991.

The accession is a blow to President Vladimir Putin and Russia now faces an almost unbroken chain of NATO members to its west stretching from the Black Sea to the Arctic.

On Thursday, the Swedish Prime Minister’s office announced: “NATO SG Stoltenberg has just informed me that all NATO member states have accepted our accession protocol, and has invited Sweden to accede to the North Atlantic Treaty. Sweden will soon be NATO’s 32nd member.”

Politico reports:

A flag-raising ceremony has been scheduled at alliance headquarters on the outskirts of Brussels at noon on Monday to ceremonially mark the accession, the officials said.
