Here Are The Numbers: Trump Receives More Votes Than Biden In Michigan Primary

President Trump scored a massive victory against Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley in the Michigan primary.

Trump garnered well over 750,000 votes, taking 68.2% of the vote, compared to Haley’s 294,000 votes, which were 26.6%.

Biden only received 618,000 votes at 81%, and notably, over 100,000 Democratic voters marked their ballots as uncommitted, which has caused major worries within the Biden campaign.

Take a look:

Per CBS:

CBS News projects that former President Donald Trump will win the Republican primary in Michigan, while President Biden will win the Democratic primary.

With 62% of the vote counted, Trump led with 67% to former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s 27%. Haley, fresh off her defeat in her home state of South Carolina, has vowed to stay in the race through Super Tuesday on March 5.

On the Democratic side, with 85% of the vote counted, Mr. Biden has 81% of the vote. While he did not have any challengers, there was an effort launched by Arab and Muslim Americans to vote “uncommitted” in the primary as a protest of his policy toward Israel. With 85% of the vote reported, “uncommitted” had passed the 100,000 mark with 101,050 votes, or 13%.

If “uncommitted” receives more than 15% of the vote, then delegates who are not bound to any candidate could attend the convention.
