Michael Rapaport Admits Being Fooled By Media’s Lie About Trump Charlottesville Quote

Infamous anti-Trump actor and comedian Michael Rapaport admitted the mainstream media lied about Donald Trump’s statement following the August 2017 protest in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The mainstream media falsely claimed that Trump called neo-Nazis “fine people” when he said there were “fine people on both sides.”

Rapaport, 53, admitted he fell for the false narrative during an appearance on the Patrick Bet-David (PBD) podcast.

“I was wrong,” Rapaport said, referring to the ‘both sides’ quote.

“So irresponsible,” he added.

“When you see the full quote, that wasn’t what he said,” Rapaport continued.

Rapaport also said he would not vote for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or Gavin Newsom.

“I’m not voting for Biden. I’m not voting for Kamala,” he said.

“That’s not happening,” he added.

“Gavin? I just left California. I’m not voting for Gavin with the good hair,” Rapaport said when asked about California Gov. Gavin Newsome.

Daily Caller reports:

During a 2017 interview, Trump said those who were not neo-Nazis were “very fine people.” Trump also said “we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence,” referring to the neo-Nazis.

Rapaport took to Twitter in 2017 to rant about how Jared Kushner was the “only Jewish guy in the White House” but was a “f****** mute” with regards to Trump’s falsely reported support of white supremacy and neo-Nazis.

Although Rapaport has been among the most vocal anti-Trump celebrities, he said voting for Donald Trump is on the table for the 2024 presidential election.

The Post Millennial noted:

Rapaport has recently even said that voting for Trump is now “on the table” because of Biden’s actions with the Israel-Hamas war, as well as when a group of illegal immigrants beat up cops in New York City.
