WATCH: Grammy-Nominated Singer Nearly Booted Off Of Plane

A ‘Grammy-nominated’ singer was almost booted off of a Delta Airlines flight for angering a flight attendant.

Bobbi Storm, a backup singer on the Grammy-nominated album “The Maverick Way,” was confronted by a Delta attendant for singing in the cabin and refusing to stop.

When confronted the gospel singer simply said that she was doing what the Lord told her to do.

A close examination of the passengers’ faces shows that many were quite amused with Storm’s singing and saw no issue in what she was doing.

Airplanes suck, and the atmosphere on a plane is way too uptight, if someone wants to sing, who cares? Let us know what you think in the comments after watching the videos and reading the reports below.

Daily Noah provided background information on the incident and ultimately asked:

“A Grammy-nominated gospel singer was nearly booted off a Delta flight when she refused to stop performing her new single – which she insisted was just her “doing what the Lord is telling me to do.”

Detroit-born Bobbi Storm, 36, a featured vocalist in the 2024 Grammy-nominated album, “The Maverick Way” by the Christian group Maverick City Music, shared a video of her attempt to sing on the plane.

“You need to be quiet. I’m not enjoying it.” – Flight Attendant

“I sing for the Lord and my song is out on all platforms and is called ‘We Can’t Forget Him.’” – Bobbi Storm

Airplanes have become such horribly oppressive places to be. I hate flying. Look at this Stew who thinks he’s a little dictator….Who do YOU think was in the right here?”

Daily Caller had more on the aftermath of the incident:

Storm later claimed on her Instagram account — followed by 160,000 people — that Delta reached out to apologize. She expressed a desire for the flight attendant to learn a lesson in the treatment of others while emphasizing that she did not wish for him to lose his job.

Unfortunately, the community on X was overwhelmingly critical of Storm’s airplane performance. I have yet to find any posts praising the gospel singer.

TMZ added:

Amid the backlash, Bobbi said in the comments she’s performed on over 50 flights with no issue … but it sounds like she tried to express her Grammy excitement on the wrong plane.
