Progressives in Congress have been calling for the United States to remove millions of displaced Palestinian refugees from the Gaza Strip.
Millions of people have been displaced from the Gaza Strip following the war between Israel and Hamas.
Amidst a growing border crisis and a poor economy, Socialists in our government want to welcome millions more.
Regardless of your stance on the conflict, America should NOT accept any more refugees.
We need to focus on ourselves.
Here we go… pic.twitter.com/W5cMYcabCv

More from the New York Post:
“Fifty percent of the population in Gaza are children. The international community as well as the United States should be prepared to welcome refugees from Palestine while being very careful to vet and not allow members of Hamas,” said Rep. Jamaal Bowman, a New York member of the Socialist-Democratic “Squad” who remains under investigation for pulling a fire alarm in the House Cannon Office Building earlier this month.
ADVERTISEMENTBut Republicans have already slammed the door shut on the issue.
Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rick Scott (R-Fla.) said they would oppose Palestinian resettlement efforts here.
“The U.S. is the most generous nation in the world, but we are in no position to accept additional refugees, especially from a region with as high a risk of terrorism, given our nation’s inability to secure our own border or vet those who are already here,” Rubio told The Post.
Rubio and other Republicans are right.
We need to focus on our citizens’ safety and our nation’s structure.
Not on resettling a million refugees from countries that care not about the welfare of America.
89% of Palestinians support terrorists firing rockets at Israeli civilians, according to a PCPO poll
Palestinians elected Hamas
Palestinians celebrated 9/11America should NOT take in a single refugee from Gaza, period.

Palestine is not an ally of America.
Letting in refugees would lead to more significant social unrest.
It’s easy for Progressive lawmakers to extend open arms to refugees when they do not have to deal with them.
Hell no we can't take in Palestinian Refugees From Gaza!

DeSantis has recently spoken up and come out in opposition to Progressive’s effort to take in refugees.
Check out his Tweet below:
I’ve been very clear: The U.S. should not be absorbing any Gaza refugees. Neighboring Arab nations should open their borders and absorb them.
Every Republican presidential candidate should follow suit. pic.twitter.com/0iQDsHptoG

More on DeSantis’ stance from The Washington Post
“If you look at how they behave, not all of them are Hamas, but they are all antisemitic,” DeSantis said as he campaigned in Iowa for the GOP presidential nomination — referring to the Gaza-based Palestinian militant group whose surprise attack in Israel last week triggered war. “None of them believe in Israel’s right to exist.”
The war between Israel and Hamas has become a major issue in the GOP presidential race in the past week, with some candidates looking to underscore their staunch support of Israel. Several Republican contenders, including DeSantis, also have rebuked former president Donald Trump with more forthrightsharpness over the issue, criticizing Trump for faulting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and calling another group attacking Israel “very smart.”
DeSantis has focused heavily on the conflict in the past week and opened his stump speech in Creston, Iowa, on Saturday morning discussing it. Turning to the matter of refugees, he told voters that “Arab states” should take in people from Gaza and added, “You don’t fly people and import them into the United States of America.”

Now listen.
I am no DeSantis fan.
But he is right when it comes to inviting Palestinians into our country.
Many Palestinians are strongly anti-semitic because of their continued struggle against the Jewish state of Israel.
Inviting them into our country would cause many problems with our Jewish community.
As for DeSantis’ comment against President Trump.
President Trump has not come out and said he wants refugees here.
President Trump’s comment was about the conflict itself and Israel’s shortcomings in the conflict.
Many Republican RINOs have not woken up to the fact that many Americans do not care to support Israel as we have in the past.
The American people want to stop our excessive spending on foreign nations and instead focus on our country first.
